I have posted a few questions here in the past and you have been so helpful I decided to come back for your help
I have applied for the skilled worker visa but my application changed to decision made over a month ago now without them having asked for medicals or for an interview and still I have not received a letter or anything. From your replies to my question back then I know this is not a very positive sign. However, my boyfriend is Canadian. We were waiting on my visa to come through so I could go there, we could save up some money, and get married. But it is taking long and we are thinking we will get married here in the US were I reside if it helps my case. I am in the US with a visa as well but it prevents me from leaving the country so that is what is complicating matters. Do you have any suggestions? Can he also ask for me or do I just have to wait until the current visa request is granted/denied? I tried contacting the office where my case is but I still have not gotten a reply.
