Hi there. I applied for PR under SCLPC and for an open work permit (LMIA exertion A70).

And the application has been received in Mississauga by March 13th 2019.

As the processing time from cic says a work permit application should be 6 weeks. But I still haven’t heart from them and as I have even received a letter/email acknowledging my application yet.
So I can’t link my application to my online profile.

Is there another processing time for work permits that are combined with a PR application?
Does anybody have experienced the same?
What can I do other then just wait?

The processing time is 4 months for open work permits that are applied for as part of inland spousal sponsorship applications (the posted six week processing time doesn't apply to these cases). You should expect to receive your OWP around mid July.

Thank you so much for your quick respond!
But isn’t that the waiting time of applicants that have to wait for the first approval ?
Somehow I thought due to the A70 exaction it’s suppose to be faster?

Not sure I understand your question. It's officially 4-5 months for OWPs connected to inland spousal sponsorship applications. See IRCC web site:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1163&top=17

Based on experiences on this forum, the majority get the OWP approved at the 4 month (rather than 5 month) mark.

BTW: You are technically posting in the wrong section of the forum. Questions related to the spousal sponsorship process are best posted in the Family Sponsorship section of the forum.

Hi.
So I’ve been approved yesterday. The application was received on March 13th.
Overall I took around 2 month.
