Applied for PGWP, got terminated by employer in NOC B job category. Need suggestions please !!!!

Need suggestions please.
So, here is the thing.

I was hired by an Employer at a retail store. My designation was Lead Supervisor which I accepted. It was the NOC B category job. I was about to complete my 3 months but my employer terminated me saying they cannot give me 30 hours a week as the management has decided to cut down hours of employees because of the COVID situation.

My husband is on a spouse visa. His visa is expiring the same as my visa which is on November 30, 2020, and I have applied for my PGWP already.
I was waiting to get an employment letter from my employer as per the CIC guidelines to apply for my husband’s visa extension. But, they decided to terminate me within the probation period.
For applying for the extension of my husband's visa, I believe it is required to have a job in the NOC B category which I don’t have now and cannot apply for his extension.
I am so helpless right now and feel like our lives are ruined. I humbly request you to provide me with a solution/suggestion on how to apply for my husband's extension.

Please please help with the guidance.

There isn't an obvious one. He can change his status to visitor before his WP expires.

Are there no alternatives apart from changing his work permit to the visitor? What if I land up another job in the NOC B category before his visa expires?

You get a new job but he will still need to change his status to visitor. You need to show at least 3 pay stubs (6 weeks of work).
