I got my initial study permit and student visa till 30-April-2012. I extended my program and so I extended my study permit till 31-March-2013. After that I came to India for vacation last month. I had applied for extension of my student visa through VFS. 2 days back, I had received my passport and to my surprise I got visitor visa (V-1) instead of student visa (S-1).
I don't know whether this is a mistake or had anyone got into a similar situation earlier. Please help me out.
