Applied for citizenship on Jan 11th, 2014 received by CIC on 15th Jan, 2014

Dear all,
My citizenship application was received by CIC on 15th Jan, 2014. Approximately, when I am expecting my E-Case status will be updated as application received & when I will be mailed look at Canada book?

Salmanbhai,

It takes around 1-2 months to update your e-cas, before that you will receive an AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt) with an e-cas file number.

Based on the November 2013 thread, it's taking closer to 2 months right now. So you still have a few weeks to wait.
