APPLIED FOR AN LMIA 7 MONTHS AGO!!! HAVE SOME DOUBTS.! NEED HELP PLEASE!

Hello guys,
My owner has applied for an LMIA, in the end of june 2015. Still it says "status under process". Now my current visa status expires on mid feb.
my doubt is, if i get my LMIA approved, after my visa status expires. how do i apply for LMIA workpermit? Will there be any issue applying for an LMIA work permit without current visa status? and how long it takes for an LMIA to get approved! It's been 7 freaking months.!!! please any help will be appreciated. thnk u.

You have 90 days from the time your status in Canada expires to apply to restore your status and for the work permit. After that it will be too late. If your visa is expiring soon, you should consider changing your status to visitor so that you can continue to have valid status in Canada.

Your LMIA is taking a very long time to process.

The original poster has not been seen here since 2/ 2016 so even if they answer any processing time 2 plus years ago would not be relevant to anything today.
