Did you try in the Ecas?? You should be able to update it.......I did mine once.
Anyways, you already emailed them right, it should not be a problem.
Hope you included the other details like the First Name,Last Name, DoB, UCI and File #...if not then I suggest to email them again.

You cannot update your file using e-CAS, it only changes the address on e-CAS, it does not "upload" the change to GCMS.

Email, letter, or fax to CPC-Ottawa is the way to change your address (if your file has been accepted for processing/you've gotten your AOR).

If you haven't and our application is still at CIO-Sydney, you should wait until you get your AOR (by email, or check your status on e-CAS).

Unfortunately, CIC rarely confirms receipt of this type of communication, so the only way to know if your address has been updated is to apply for your GCMS notes, or find it on c-CAS.

thanks for the info, yes i got my aor in august and emailed ottawa 3 weeks ago but got no reply ,it says they reply within 20 days so im just a bit anxious that any mail i might get off them might go to my friends address in canada which is no longer in use cause he moved,is there any number to call from outside of canada so i can speak to them directly and put my mind at ease
