I applied to immigrate to canada in 2011,still i am waiting in federal security check process,my medical exam has expired on dec 2018,they don' t tell me what is going on ....no answer,no news,no visa ,nothing .....it is descrimination and irresponsibility

What type of application? Family? Express Entry? Note that for security checks, your home country and any other country where a police report was required from you also need to cooperate. How is this discrimination and irresponsibility?

You can probably contact one of the news agencies and they'll probably run a story if your security check is still ongoing after 8 years.

I applied throw quebec skill worker on 2011 ,after 6 years i got csq,since aug 2017 my federal check started contain medical check and security check etc...
I just wonder how it is possible to pass just 1 day for they security check and for us it's getting 5 month...

I will do that for sure ,when i applied the whole process was max 3 years ....now after 8 years i am still without visa

I know all of it,but someone please tell me how it's possible for some just it takes 1 day,for some 1 week ,for me since sep2017.....they don't care about us,when i follow up my case they don't give me right answer :-( it is discriminatiom,because i am from iran.i legaly applied to immigrate to canada ,ilove canada,they don't care.me and my friends ....it's not fair ...

Ok so you apply to IRCC in Aug 2017? That's 15 months ago. The current average processing time for Quebec Skilled Worker is 19 months. You are still within the average timeline. Obviously nothing discriminating

Canada relies on other countries to provide information to pass security checks. It's extremely easy for Canada to obtain this information from some countries. For other countries it's extremely difficult (these countries do not cooperate with Canada) and this is why the security check and/or background check can take years. Given how long you have been waiting, I expect you have lived in 1 or more countries where it's extremely difficult to obtain this information.

Actually when i sent my documents on 2017 the process was 13 month....step by step it gets 19 month....aand i have many friends in same situation one or 2 month later or sooner ....they have same situation ....

The 13 month processing time increasing to 19 months has nothing to do with your country of origin. Everyone is affected by the longer processing times.

It's their average processing timeline for all applications. It's not against you and there's nothing you or any one applicant can do.

Canada relies on other countries to provide information to pass security checks. It's extremely easy for Canada to obtain this information from some countries. For other countries it's extremely difficult (these countries do not cooperate with Canada) and this is why the security check and/or background check can take years. Given how long you have been waiting, I expect you have lived in 1 or more countries where it's extremely difficult to obtain this information.

Why just for us? On the other hand we provide all police declaration form officially

Apply by quebec contains quebec and federal....quebec process took 6 years and then for medical and security check we sent documents on aug 2017 ....
