Applications "under processing" for more than 15 months and not finalized

Sirgic you did a good job to make this thread. I feel so relaxed that I am not alone. My visa office is Ottawa. I will complete 20 month on 16 May. I am afraid if they will reject my application after this long wait? Hope for the best guys. please help us God

Thanks samroger. You are not alone my dear, there are a lot of us here and there. Stay tuned Sam, you should be very close to the happy end of this story. Stay relaxed, I have NEVER heard about rejection case after 12 months of processing. It will be very odd. Actually the haven't heard about any rejection case after the 8th month.

Btw Can you contact CIC ? Or does CIC sends periodic updates ?
If it takes so long in my head I would be like is everything ok & I will try to contact CIC.
So how do you guys take care of it & keep a level head .

I assure you every one in this category have done what it takes such as contacting CIC, requesting notes and even emailing the minister of immigration. Nothing has changed, waiting patiently is the only key. That's why every one who waited for 15 months or more is a real hero, believe me.

Since October 2016, I have received only one email- reply to my case specific enquiry, assuring that soon I will get the final decision.

I don't know if I am ever getting the ppr email. I just thought this info would be helpful for someone.

No, as soon as the application is submitted, no need for redoing the exam.

Even PNP applicants in this thread are EE. EE started early Jan 2015.

There is no request on my CIC account page. I also don't see any extension on my notes. I just wait and let them decide.
