Hi everybody,
Has anyone applied to NS after 15 May and got respond during the last week?
I have applied on 27 May and reached CIO on the first of June and till now I had no communication from them.
Please share me with this subject.
Regards

I applied May 15th and it reached CIO 21st May,still no word from there. Wonder what is taking so much time.

Jada, did you insure that the DD has been encashed by CIO?
My certified check has been enchased on 26 June 2009

No i have not checked that yet but i guess they would do that. They are supposed to cash the money so i see no use checking. It won't bring the reply faster.

FYI,
Sent on 25th May and got reply on 15th July for 120days limit

congratulations rocky
we are very close in the date, so hope I get the 120 days letter this week.
but I wonder why they take all this time to finish the applications since it only needs to review the forms without any proofs which need verifications sometimes!
rocky I have a question, since you got your AOR after alomost 45 days, will you have to update your forms to be signed and dated upon the current date, and in this situation you will have to update the personal history in schedule 1 as soon as the time of the current work experience in schedule 3 to be up to date?!.
OR, will you send copes with orginial signeture of the same forms which you sent to CIO without any change even with the same date you sent to CIO.

Please advise

I will send updated forms with current dates. Since there are changes and additions in the forms so I will have to update them. It is not a problem if you give a valid reason. But you have to send the forms even if unchanged with current dates. Kindly confirm this with others as well. Rest I think the volume of files has increased that is the reason they are taking so much of time. Rest I wish you get your AOR soon and get a smooth way to PR.
Best of Luck

Thanks Rocky for your reply, it is very clear to me now regarding the forms.
But I think since we have to send the forms with the current date, so any change or update in the forms, must be cleared in an explanation letter which has to be attached with this form.
Is that right Rocky?

Yes, correct. It has to be mentioned in a separate letter.

I got my AOR yesterday July 23rd from CIC to proceed to my local visa office. AOR was sent by email with file number and receipt number.

I may have to wait more maybe one or two additional weeks.
Just patience is waht we can do..........

I applied under FSW category 1. It took about 62 days. Thanks
