How did you come to know that your file is in Pretoria?

Because they sent me an email saying my application is in Pretoria for processing that was on 3 may then on 9 may they send me an email for medical exam later on I received an email for biometric that was on June 9 so I did my biometric on 17th of June in Dar es salaam

My husband stays in Canada so am sure it was sponsorship

Also applied for visitor visa, paid July 28th and Biometrics completed August 1st, enrolled August 2nd, all this done at VFS(Pretoria), applied online through GC Portal. Current status since biometric enrollment is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". Flight booked for the 21st of Sept but seems it may have to be moved, is there still a WhatsApp group so we could inform one another if there are any updates?

No update yet sadly, still on the background check unfortunately. Hoping something happens soon. They won’t respond to any emails or answer any questions via the phone. As it’s still within normal processing times according to them.

No update yet. I emailed my MP last week to check the status of our application and she said nothing has changed at all. She is going to check for me again in 20 days.

Hope you get something soon! You applied just a couple days before me. But who is to say what the processing time is because it keeps changing daily. When I applied it was 58 days and now it is 69 days. :/
