Got email today asking for medicals to be redone. Not sure what to think about this process anymore....

hello nurse, dont give up just yet, i am sure it won't take more than a month after medical redone for them to request your passport, i have read somewhere here where it took about a month after they were requested to redo the medicals they requested passports for visa...
sorry i have been silent, my hubby is here for two weeks,


but our status still says application received, praying and waiting for some updates soon... :'(

We got the following from Pretoria today. I've posted it on other threads to ask a few questions so adding it here for everyone's information. They made a mistake with regards to requesting me to complete questions 16 and 17 correctly as it is completed correctly. The declarations are with regards to my previous marriage and my unaccompanied children so hopefully it means that they are getting with our application. It went to "in process" about a month ago now.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.



The following documents are required:



- It will be necessary for you to sign the attached Statutory Declarations in the presence of a Notary Public and return the originals to our office. (Attached.)

- It will be necessary for you to sign the attached Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union in the presence of a Notary Public and return the original to our office. (Attached.)

- Please correctly complete Questions 16 and 17 of your Generic Application Form for Canada form. (Attached.)



We should receive the above mentioned documents within 60 days. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the refusal of your application.

My medical also expired on the 14th of June , i think they will come back to me requesting the same thing .Let 's wait and see .

We were asked for a couple of notarized declarations about two weeks ago and haven't heard anything since then. waiting and hoping!

My husband had to resubmit his Medicals last week and havnt heard anything since

Let's hope and pray that you guys hear something soon, especially you Nurse_85 as you approach the one-year mark for your overall application. My husband did his medicals in August 2013 so perhaps this August they will ask us to re-do his medical too. Unfortunate that they couldn't just extent your medical.

As for us, I ordered the wrong set of GCMS notes so I don't have an update on our file and Pretoria hasn't communicated with us but we know that our communications with them have been logged. I have ordered a second set of notes and will fill you all in if there's anything significant.

Let's hope things move along.

That 's good and congratulations !!!! we are all waiting it has been a year now since my application was transferred to pretoria from July 18th 2013 to july 18th 2014. My medical expired in june . Happy for the good news from others and this is giving us also hope.
