Congrats!!! I am so happy for you! Please pray for me as I am getting a little bit impatient lol. Hopefully we can meet you someday soon! Thank you for all your help on this forum, I really appreciate it. I personally will miss you and hopefully some new people would join the group.
Thanks Josephs!

I am sure Malinsonsa will get it today because he lives in here in SA. I am only going to the embassy this Friday because I'm busy with the translation of one of my Police clearances. Thanks for you prayers :)

No worries :) keep us updated!

My wife got it this morning, 8am, I just got to see it tonight after 7pm when both kids were in bed sleeping.
The letter sounds hectic, we'll have an interview at the airport where they will compare info that was on your application.

Not that I'm worried or anything... :o

It's all good.

IndianOcean, when are you guys planning to Land in Canada? Surely your expiry date is probably like August or so?

I Know I'm jumping the gun a bit..... LANDED.... but I will be landing on that day...

An interview at the airport?? Well that's new for me, never heard of such thing.. Let me go check my letter again also, hope I don't have that freakin interview..

I'm planning to land next week or so. My expiry date is in August, same as medicals, but not planning to wait that long, I have waited long enough :D

Good luck guys :)

I was so excited when I got my passport that I barely read the whole letter from the embassy. Yes an interview will take place when we land to compare information etc. guess it's just routine.

I don't think it is something to worry about, you have gone through the most difficult part I guess :)

Yeah that's true. But noticed a tiny mistake on my CPR, wrong date on my expiry date of the passport. I posted on the main post on this forum, to see if a senior member can give me an advice about it. But honestly don't think it's a huge deal.

I don't think the passport expiry is that important, I guess you just need to land before it expires.

You are welcome.

Guys how are the preparations coming?

Hi IndianOcean

I am studying at the moment and I won't graduate until the end of 2013 do you think that could affect the decision of my visa? I am thinking they might not take my application seriously since they know I am still a student.

What do you think?
