I am primary applicant and my spouse is in India.
Applied under CEC.

AOR- 26th June

BIL received -> 18th Aug.
Medicals passed - Aug 18th
Eligibility and Criminality in process
Security not started

My wife gave biometrics when we applied for her work permit but she hasn't given bio for PR( exempted).

AOR 6th March, Biometric 5th Oct. Eligibility passed, security passed, Medical passed, criminality passed. Called CIC today and agent said decision has been made on 18th Dec and currently just waiting for the officer's email. VO is Ottawa.

Same here - decision has been on 28 November and waiting for the email since than... I do not know what is taking them sooo long!!!

Looks like they are holding up until the travel restrictions are lifted.

Funny how applicants with their applications at VO Ottawa are all hanging in the air with daily anticipation and anxiety.
In my case...
AOR -- March 05
Eligibility passed, Security passed, Info sharing complete, Medicals passed, background check passed, Final decision Approved. All since August 20

I confirmed from GCMS note and called to officers. I was told the officer in charge needs to make a final decision and send me an email. Up until now, I leave every day in anticipation and trepidation. I don't know why they put everyone's life up in the air like this.
I guess we just have to keep hope alive

i am little confused !! From all the info i feel they do crimility check only after biometrics!! Right??
My biometrics done on 22oct

but shen i called and asked the agent !! Of ircc she told me last update on my file was on 21sept !!!

but she said criminality passed!!
So how they cleared criminality before biometrics aa per last update of my file!!

News coming from Ontario is not a good one for those who have their applications at VO - Ottawa. Ontario is currently in lockdown and people are not allowed to step out of their homes except for essential reasons. My guess is that we might have to wait till all these brouhaha is over.
