Positive things are happening these days. So, hope for the best...
eligibility review started today.
Hi everyone,
I applied from Brazil in December 18th. My timeline:
Upfront medical: 16 dec
Application submitted: 18 dec
Biometrics done: 12 jan (updated on the same day)
Passed medical: 14 jan
Review of eligibility started in the end of january (I don't remember the exact date).
BVL: 24 jan
Submission confirmation: 4 feb
No update since then

how many ghost updates are we supposed to get before BVL or PPR? I have got no ghost updates so far
Ghost updates are random and not everyone gets it. I wouldn't consider this as a benchmark towards the final process.
I see you are trying to see if there is a trend. But honestly, in recent times there is no clear indication. Everyone has reached their decision very randomly. We don't know how IRCC works as that information is not public. All we can do is wait for our turn.
