Hi Cam,

Yes I agree in the fact that there seems to be a pattern an apps are processing in batches. Anyways, the waiting is cruel and we might all just have some extra time to imagine things and make up for all the silence. Life has become like a routine, its starts with coffee and ecas every day... I guess the ecas is a depressant and the coffee will help with the fatigue continuos ecas checking causes. Anyways, I better keep drinking coffee. :D

Hi Rod:

Here is what I think, based on nothing but thin air ;D I think each VO needs to meet a quota of applications completely processed within a time period, set by CIO... For example, 5% of applicants need to get their PR visa in one year. That is why we are seeing VOs process a batch of applications and suddenly go to sleep for sometime. The fact that NDVO has woken up after several months is good news for the rest of us... at some point the VOs will start again with another batch of applications... Now, if you think that this seat of the pants analysis is to hard too believe, you are correct, because it is complete nonsense... created by what is left of my imagination after waiting for so long :P

Slowly going insane,
Cam

Well, ours was received by London VO on august 17th and no update eighter so... ::)
No disappearing address, nothing...
Looks like we have to wait....again.... :-X

Kind regards,
Louise!

London VO received ours on the 16th and I am just hoping for some good news this week.
They actually got our medical since May. It is only my wife's X-ray and baby's medical that were sent to them recently.
My last email to them was replied with the information that they will communicate further with me after the medicals have been reviewed.
Why is it taking so long to review the medical results?

congratulations to each member of this wonderful forum for completing 3000 pages :P :P :P

Congrats Kolhapuri!
Wayne.

Exactly, and it should be outlawed like all other drugs... which brings us to why I am on ecas strike and will not look again... Even if I see my MD request in the mail, I will send it "Back to Sender" with this picture:

They don't know who they are messing with!

Now my ecase status has been changed with the addition of following lines:
"Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
Guidance required about submission of Photographs
Now VO demands submission of Photographs, updated information CHART provided by them and Passport copies because sending original passports through courier are not allowed in my country , but it is not mentioned that how many (numbers of) Photographs I should provide them.
If any one have knowledge about this please guide me.

We had submitted two copies of photographs.

For those interested, I'm holding an "Ecas Anonymous" workshop tonight...
We will hold hands, sing the Canadian national anthem, and throw our computers off the balcony...
We will then cap the evening by singing Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya...
Contact me asap, only two seats left... Cam

I'm in!!!

Weird.

We landed on 27th August - tried logging onto ECAS to see if our status was "COMPLETED" but now we cannot log onto ECAS at all! Tried using England and United Kingdom/Colonies as the country and still no joy.

Not sure if it's standard to remove ECAS access after you land?

Great to have you join our group Wendy...

To the Anonymous poster who just "In Boxed" me:
No, you would have to bring your own computer, we can only throw mine off the balcony once... and thank you for your interest in my workshop.

Cam
