Dear seniors,
Last month Cairo VO asked me to issue new separate passport to my daughter ,Because I had sent a common passport for my spouse and daughter. Therefore,I issued new separate passport for my daughter and I sent a copy of this passport to cairo VO.As aresult the last common passport of my wife and daughter automatically became to my wife alone.
But,Today I received second e-mail from Cairo VO to confirm receiving new copy ofseparate passport of my daughter ,and did not receiving new copy of separate passport of my wife. So,the asked me to send new passport copy of my wife…..!!!!
I’m wondering and surprise now …because Cairo VO need more new passport copy….It does not make a sense for me because my wife already has separate passport now after last separation.
Please advise…

This is a copy of E-mail that I received today from Cairo VO:
Good Morning,
Further to your application for Permanent residence in Canada , please note that we did not receive the passport copy for your wife. In order to continue processing of your application, please provide us with required new passport copy for your spouse within three working days .(That includes no. of passport, issue & expiry date, and full name).
Kindly note that we only received the passport copy for your daughter.
Thank you

Thanks, entemaria. We came last August. It took about 10 weeks to get the visa as everyone poured to apply for it when school year approached.
Best wishes for all of us in this much longer wait,
saratracy

+1 for you.

Friends are not updating their knowledge about student visas. It was three years before, it was bit difficult. Now it is so easy.

When did you guys come on your hus's student visa?

My baby's medical and wife's X-ray finally reached London VO this morning. I got the tracking number from the DMP and the tracking shows that it was delivered this morning at 08:15.
I am patiently waiting for the PPR email from them and I hope it is issued very soon since we did our initial medical on May 7 2011.

Congrats to everyone with good news and best wishes to those waiting.

Shalom

Congratulations Shalom...Hope you get the PPR very soon..... ;)

Thank you very much saratracy.

It was not the situation as two of my friends applied two years before to bring their husbands.

Happy that things are changing.

You are not being rejected, IRG or you would know about it by now.

I totally understand your rage and frustration and have the greatest sympathy for you.

London are blatantly unfair in their order of processing, whatever they claim >:(.

Maybe it would be wise to order your CAIPS notes?
Ours didn't reveal anything was amiss (other than they had my address as spouse incorrect)- no concerns were mentioned in the section pertaining to that - so there was nothing to see really but that was a good thing because at least we knew that there was no reason for the delay in our processing.
I know it isn't much but at least then you would be able to see what they have been doing with your application all this time.
Would this ease your pain a little?

I wish there was something else I could say to make you feel more at peace with the waiting but I know that there is nothing that anyone can say that will make it any easier for you. It is horrible, upsetting and deeply frustrating and no-one can blame you for feeling aggrieved.

All I can offer is that I am thinking about you and wishing for you to hear something very soon :-*.

Dear Queencougar,

I have to say your words are such so much powerful. I was feeling for IRG after reading his post and later when I read your post I felt he may get a little relief.

Thanks a lot. +1 for you.

I am also thinking about IRG and wishing to hear something very soon

Dear fellow forum members,

I had a twist in my application which may slow down my application little bit but for a good reason.

I recently did my medicals but asked a month extension for my spouse since we had a baby boy born after a cesarean section and she is advised not to travel for some days.

When I sent an email to inform that we are expecting a baby and my work permit expires on September 7. they asked me to send my baby's passport and birth certificate within 60 days. In the email that I send I did not say the date that our bay expected. The request from Buffalo VO reached before the day baby was born. After a week itself, I got baby's passport and birth certificate in fast track mode and today I received my baby's medical which I couriered to my home country . My spouse and baby are planning to do their medicals next week. The letter does not say anything about my spouse's medical extension but I assume that they granted an extension.

My file will be little delayed but I am happy.

Hi chhotti,
I beg to differ. We first came to Canada on my spouse's study permit and all family members get depedent visa with the same expiry dates as my spouse had and all visa were issued the same day. The key things are that one of you guys has acceptance letter from schools/colleges/universities and your financial records prove that you guys have enough funding for everybody during all school years. Once in Canada, the non-student adult can apply for open work permit with expiry date the same as the expiry date of the student's study permit and/or a study permit if she/he gets acceptance from an educational institution.
Best luck,
saratracy

Address appeared, and still RBVO...
