Hi Anil

Just to keep you informed that there has been no progress in my application after RBVO. That's the reason why the silence for so long. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping things speed up.
Thanks for putting a 'wake-up' message in your spreadsheet.

Congratulations to all those folks who received their visa. Happy landing folks!

Cheers
Jurav

Hi Jurav,

I know how depressing it is when things get stuck. I am getting depressed because there has been no update in my case even though I got my medicals done approx 3 months ago. I can understand your frustration level since your case is stuck in RBVO status. NDVO has been very slow lately and things are now moving at a desired pace. I am pretty sure that there is loads of good news lined up for all of us and we all will sail through eventually :)

Just hang on and be positive :)

All the best to you and all my friends here :)

Manpreet

Hi chhotti,
I beg to differ. We first came to Canada on my spouse's study permit and all family members get depedent visa with the same expiry dates as my spouse had and all visa were issued the same day. The key things are that one of you guys has acceptance letter from schools/colleges/universities and your financial records prove that you guys have enough funding for everybody during all school years. Once in Canada, the non-student adult can apply for open work permit with expiry date the same as the expiry date of the student's study permit and/or a study permit if she/he gets acceptance from an educational institution.
Best luck,
saratracy

hello Chhotti
he can apply for student visa but it's very hard to get dependant visa for his wife along with initial application
my suggession is your cousin should apply first and once he land than his wife should apply, I think that way she MAY get visa
it is very hard to get STUDENT dependant visa for Canada as my friend facing similar issue
however you should consult with experts

cheers :)

I feel like screaming and shouting at London VO,

we’re still RBVO, no acknowledgement, no queries, additional requests, nor rejection or any kind of communications :-\ .

I don’t know what to think and what to do? What kind of “b*rd” officer we got? Or have we got any attention at all
>:( >:( >:( :'( :'( :'(

I am planning to apply for FSW from India.
Has anybody applied using Public Provident Fund (PPF) account statement as "proof of fund"?
Is it acceptable?

Hi - the content in the links you've pasted is 1 month old, and also the guy claiming all this has not substantiated where he got the information.

We have too much unsubstantiated "breaking news" from Nectar which turns out not to be true, we don't really need any more! :)

Any idea who this guy is or where he gets his info?

Wayne.

Hi Wayne,
I was "Googling" the stuff related to Canadian Immigration and came across the link I posted. Just wanted to share with the forum members what I read. Obviously, the forum members are wise enough to use their discretion and judge the authenticity of the information provided in the posted links. :)

I don’t really know who the guy is – may be a close ally of Nectar :D

P.S. This was never meant to be a "Breaking News":)

+1 for you.

Friends are not updating their knowledge about student visas. It was three years before, it was bit difficult. Now it is so easy.

When did you guys come on your hus's student visa?
