I think the Canadian postal strike still on then, though, wasn't it?

We applied about the same time and it was late received because of the strike.

It is actually set down in the freedom of information laws that they must send the requested data within 30 days, so now the strike is over if Triumph gets a move on he might have them before his interview.

I would get the notes just to have some pre-warning of what their issues are. There is a box on the forms where the IO can write any concerns they have about the application and that is the bit that Triumph might benefit greatly from seeing.

Hi Everyone,I am new to this forum even though I have been checking it regularly. We have received a refusal for my husbands application. The application was under noc O621 with job offer with AEO.The refusal was because they say the duties of your work experiencewere not listed in the employment letters. In the past there has been a case which I read about,. received a refusal but he got it changed by sending them an explanation. Please help us to get this resolved

:o Attention Buffalo Applicants! :o
Received By Visa Office does not mean Buffalo haven't started processing your case!

I made the mistake of relying on the ecas status. Turns out that in June, Buffalo sent me a letter requesting additional documents, which I only just got yesterday. This was delayed by the Canadian Postal Strike and the fact it was sent to my old address, meaning I overshot the 60 day deadline by 2 days. I'm hoping that this will not mess up my application but it goes to show that you cannot rely on ecas alone to know what is happening.

Buffalo requested T4 Forms which prove my employment and show my salary as well as a reference letter. I didn't include this with the application before because I didn't think it was necessary. I have immediately faxed and emailed buffalo these documents today with an explanatory cover letter.

I think I will be OK, but I'm annoyed as this has cost me 60 days in processing time! There was no ecas update, no email notification, nothing... when I faxed them to update my address in July they never even mentioned in the follow up email that they had sent me any letters!

Anyway, just a word of warning for anyone who might be relying on ecas to tell them if their case is processing.

CanadaJimmy,

I am sorry for the delay but in the other hand this is a good sign that they are doing something and hope you receive your medical soon.

Also if you are using iPhone open the spreadsheet in your safari and then you can filter the visa offices directly there :)

Dear Triumph,

My advise to you to focus on your last query & Job , Marriage.

They will ask questions around it.

CAIPS is not possible as you have no time to get it.

Good Luck.

Mayank

Thank you for your reply

but CAIPS take almost 30 to 40 days and I have only 35 days time, so it would be advisable to order that ?
