They didn't ask for RPRF before. Now they are asking for passport and RPRF.

Congratulation, cforcanada. May I ask you this? When did you submit your RPRF? You mentioned that you received police certificates and medical request, not including RPRF? Did you actually pay that fee? I just wonder because I was also not requested that fee with medical request.. Thank you

My situation goes like this..

We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 26, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 8, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

First passports were sent in the month of April but in June month they returned my passport as lamination was not OK so after renewing my PP I sent it back to NDVO in June itself and now it's Long Wait and wait only.....
What is your current eCAS status? Did you send your old PP along with the new one?

Dear all,

How long does it take for the ecas status to change or for the address to reappear? Mine disappeared on Monday and its still not there. I have been checking ecas 3 tmes a day at least :-\

I am on vacaction so I barely check the forum these days. Congrats for all of you that have received good news. I saw there was a ppr from buffalo ;D

Rod
There is no timeline actually. ECAS is not that reliable in the first place. For some, address never disappeared, for some it disappeared and then reappeaered with an updated status and for others, address disappeared and reappeared without any update. My address disappeared for couple of days in July and reappeared without any update. :-\

Hi entemaria,

Don't complain my friend. It's almost a year for me and I am still RBVO! Imagine your situation could be worse same as mine ;)

Mari

Mari.

It was just my thoughts. Not a complaint. My work permit expires in 20 days and did not want to renew it. I understand what you are going through so I am not taking offence on your word "complain".

May be you will undesratnd what I am also going through. Choices are limited or hard. I did not want renew my Work permit. Again reitrating that it was just my inner worries not a compaint.:(

thank you. You are right but I look at the spreadsheet and my concern is "do we have to wait 21 months as FSW2 or our file is in priority same as FSW1 in Buffalo?"

Mari

Yes I wrote to them last week and they replied that my file is in process. But to be honest I don't trust what they say, as many people have received rubbish and irrelevant responses from Buffalo so far. They just say something to you to get rid of you ;D

Hi entemaria,

Please don't take it personally. All I was trying to say was " be happy cos the situation could be worse" I didn't mean anything else. I know how difficult is applying for work permit over and over again every year because right now I am doing it for the 4th time. I wish you hear good news from Buffalo soon.
Of course I would like to see my application goes forward but it doesn't mean that I won't be happy to find out other people see positive progress. 8)

Good luck and wish you all the best ;)

Congratulations basmalahh .....You will soon get your MR.

Cheers, aNil

Thanks Anil,
I hope so :) Though not so sure. I could see people on the spreadsheet who got their MRs more than a couple of months after their status has changed to IN PROCESS.

Congrats on your Passport request. You will soon get your visa :DDD

Congratulation for your progress Dr.basmalahh :D
I was eagerly waiting to hear some good news from your side since you are the only doctor who used internship training as "work experience".
Many of us were cofused about that and used to believe Internship training won't be counted as work experience. You proved us wrong and i believe you will get your MR soon.

Best wishes,
Dr.Hasib

Dear old friend Dr. Hasib,
Thank you for your congrats & for being in your thoughts.. :) I really hope my MRs are on the way.
I am sure you know how hard the wait is ;)

Counting the Internship year as an experience year actually makes sense. It's a paid year of work doing all a general practitioner would be doing. What made me more encouraged to apply using it was the fact that it was mentioned under their identification of NOC 3112 with all the related job responsibilities. That makes it fulfil all their requirements. But to tell you the truth, I won't be totally confident of anything until I get my VISA stamped..

Then again, if you try you may succeed, but if you don't try then for sure you won't succeed. Thus trying seems to raise the odds quite a bit. Don't you think? :)

Many congrats on your MR yourself.. & I hope to hear of your PPR & visa soon :)
Basmalahh

Will somebody update my status please......i m IN PROCESS since 3rd August 2011
