why did they return ur app.? yes u can cancel ur draft without physical presence.

Cap of 1000 reached so they returned but why icici bank refuse to cancel the draft ?why they need its physical presence ?from where i will bring that draft?still i didnt recieve it back

u shud tell them the reason why u are unable to produce physical presence.....send email from ur icici account to manager or complaint division.....tell them the fact and say thatu can produce copy of it....they may ask u to wait till u receive the original.....u can tell them that u need money urgent.....or else one more option is left and that is to lie....which is not recommended....u can asay that u lost the original and produce the copy or details of the BD for cancellation


anyway y u wanna cancel? u can use the same BD for re apply IF U WISH TOO.

and dont worry at all about BD.....no one can misuse it. Even if it lost and some one misuse it....u will get ur refund back.

Hi Paramvir,

1. A decision made status before Medicals is NOT a good sign, unfortunately. There was a phase when the Ecas was not reliable and many people got DM without medicals which was reversed in due time. I think in March the Ecas was pretty reliable regarding "DM before Meds status".

But since the reply to your CSE is - Pending review, I would take this as a POSITIVE sign because that was the latest Update from NDVO.

2. During RBVO status we see the following statements:
a. We received your application for permanent residence on xx xx xxxx.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on xx xx xxxx. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

b. After a while in RBVO stage (4-6m) with the above info, another line is added to the mail which states- ....we started processing your application on xx xx xxxx.

Your ecas will still show RBVO.

What gives me solace is that the main ECAS page still saying " RBVO "..... although inside it says " a decision has been made on your application "... no medicals though... GOD or the sleeping elephant only knows whats cooking....

Oh no, its ok. I'm glad that people are helping me here.

Like some members said in the other topic, all i can do now is wait. If the London VO has made a mistake, they'll eventually correct it. If not, i'll get my medical request soon.

Yes, we are London and we were RBVO for 4 months 20 days!! So I can assure you, as wenstumped has said that they certainly do not go directly to IN PROCESS .

Some people have seen IN PROCESS appear on ECAS before they have PER or shortly afterwards, but this has been an error on ECAS and soon gets rectified.

i m oct 2010 applicant and i hav received ist AOR from cic in feb....my status is RBVO from mid feb till now.
last month i sent a query to london vo as i havnt received anything including second AOR.on 11th i had reply from them that one liner sying...''please be advised your application awaits review of an immigration officer''
my adress disappeared in july....and reappeared after 2 weeks with no change
today i checked my status and its disappeared again
i welcome ur comments !

Hi Mwansaa, you are mistaken about this. London applicants do spend time in RBVO on ecase, quite a long time too. We go through all the stages on ecase same as everyone else.

after CIO review complete ,when ur file moves towards the VO before it reached to VO or accepted by VO ur ecas will show INPROCESS.and this is my personal experience ,so don't worry after few days ur ecas will be changed into RBVO.
