Thank you very much canadesitn.
One of my friend told that if we regularly see our eCAS this could cause delay our file or it interfere with our status, that is VO suspect about our file? Is it true? what should be our frequency to see updates (eCAS)?

That is not true. VO does not have time to check (Read : thousands and thousands) who is logging into ecas and for how many times.

That is the only source for the applicant to know the status when VO does not reply.

Maybe they read what we were all saying and had another look at it! ;D ;D
I think I will give it another try and see if they have put right the Cat 2 thing right now.

Hope your PR gets to you very soon, Wendy. ;)

I have just tried the Come to Canada tool again and it still says we are not eligible when we ARE!!! >:(
So it seems that it is still incorrect for Cat 2 FSW.

In addition, the page that contains the "Come to Canada" link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp
also contains the "Take the Test" link to the points calculator.

This gives my OH a score of 87, which is the same as we calculated when we applied and so indicates that we ARE eligible!
How can two tools on the same page tell us different things? How ridiculous and more importantly, misleading for would-be applicants!
They really do need to get this sorted out soon.

It is still quoting a pass mark in points of 67, so clearly that hasn't changed at all, which is some good news.

is it ur frend who said or is it ur own feeling? :D....sending emails/fax n enquiring status frequently may delay ur process.....n to avoid uneccessary enquiries they have provided us this online service to check status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; anytime, anywhere.

Hi Everybody,

Just to share my happiness with all brothers and sisters applicants.
Today we have received the PPR from Vienna VO.
I'm born again ;D

I hope you will all receive your PPR soon.

Respect,

Thanks Helen, I really hope so too. Believe me, the final wait for the PPR is the most stressful and anxiety ridden of all. I feel like I'm running toward the finish line and all of a sudden everything goes into slow motion!!! ???

The only confirmation I received was following the tracking number provided by "special delivery" option @ post office. You will not receive confirmation from VO. You will just get PP sent back to you via special delivery/signed for.

Emma, I'm guessing you should get your passports back in the next few days, all the best!!! :D

Hahahaha! If this were true I'd be in a world of trouble. I check my ecase a minimum of 3 times a day, everyday! When I wake up, in the middle of the day and before I sleep every night. It's like an addiction!

Before Canada Day (July 1) NDVO has issued many visas to applicants so that they can celebrate the day.

After July no good news from NDVO.... it seems they want rest of the applicants to celebrate Independence Day (August 15)

Thanks Canadestin.
It was not my fear, in fact I was confused when she told me. She is in Canada for education so I believed her.

And there are two of us, my OH and me, both checking the same ECAS file from different sides of the world!
If that doesn't confuse them........ :P :P :P
