CAIPS.
For the benefit of those who are waiting a long time to hear anything and are already in Canada or know someone who is, here is the site for ordering CAIPS and the telephone contact number.

The official CIC site is here;

It has the forms and the address to send them to.
The contact number is ;

Client Service Unit at 613-946-0953 or 1-800-667-6703 "

If you just internet search for CAIPS, you only get private companies who charge a lot to order these notes for you - $40 and upwards. (This is because on the official site they don't call them CAIPS very clearly, they call them 'access to private information' or something like that.
If you order them through the official site, they are only $5.

Hope this helps if you are thinking about finding out about the progress of you application. Some Buffalo applicants be especially interested!

Well, congratulations again. My meds were received on the 7th of June and I'm anxiously waiting for my ppr too. Did you receive yours thru email or snail mail?

I received my PPR on email yesterday..

I've tried the 'come to Canada' tool again and it now says I'm eligible after initially saying I wasn't. This of course was mainly due to the fact that 3131 was not included in the list initially. I'm glad to see that even if they decide to change the points system, I still qualify.

Now, for my PPR to fly in on swift wings and bring a merry smile to my face....and if you are wondering; Yes, I am going out of my mind! ;D

Hi Montu, if you send it by courier, they will give you confirmation of it being delivered. After that, I think you'll just have to wait till u get the passports back with the visas. All the best!

@ 9J, I know I'll need a good mind too. The one I have right now though really needs to be exchanged with one marked 'patience of a saint'.

No, I think you'll have to depend on the courier's tracking details for now. You may have a change in ecase to "decision made' soon, but other than that I don't think you will get any news from the VO until you get your passports back.

There is no confirmation of arrival other than from your courier, the passport is usually mailed back using a "signed for " service.
