Hi Pradeep,

Yes, i did send my RPRF in first week of july and i already had posted that it got encashed in 4 days.

Another news is that i got an email from BFALOIMPA-AP @ international.gc.ca with a passport request. I am not sure if this is a genuine email or a spam. There are few links in it with respect to photo requirements, instructions etc. Buffalo guys, please help me decide if its a genuine email though i will also sent an inquiry to buffalo myself...keeping my fingers crossed..

Hey fellas, I checked with my bank and they told me my money order for RPRF was cashed on Aug 04, 2011 and it was received by Buffalo on Aug 01, 2011. They took four days to cash it. Just thought I should let you guys know so you can get an idea.

it will be long but this is my story

i sent my application and received by the cio on 25 feb 2011
they encashed my cc on 2 march 2011
up to first of july 2011 i got neither e mail nor mail from cio about my status
i became worry and according to the advice of some friends on forum i sent to them enquiry
the cio replied by giving me application number E0000 then 5 numbers
and stated that my application is awaiting review by an officer
i used this application number as file number on cio electronic site to check my status unhopfully
the surprise that i found the following
we received your application on 25 feb
we reviewed your application and sent you a letter on 31 march plz consider delay in mail delivery before contacting us ( my status till now eligability review complete)

i sent to cio another e mail asked how come to write that eligability review complete and u sent me a letter and i got nothing by mail or e mail till now
they replied as follow
No letter has been sent. Notification will be sent upon completion of the assessment of the file. It will be sent via the e-mail address on your application.

The online system (E-CAS) is a computer system that automatically updates during key periods throughout the creation and assessment of your file. However, at times the information that is transferred to the E-CAS system is erroneous. This issue has been brought to the attention of the appropriate party for resolution.

really i dont know what is happening ?
is the number they sent to me staring with E is my file number and if it is my file number does that mean that i got positive eligability review or i have to wait to have positive or negative decision

some people said that the next step will be received by visa office (my visa office is cairo ,egypt)
i sent asking my visa office did you receive my application they said no
today i got a response from cio sydney that my application according to their records are awaiting a review

really i am worry confused whay all that delay ,,is it positive or negative ?what will be the end result

Dear doctorahmed,

I had the same situation. I send emails, but unfortunately nothing we can do until they decide to call and give their assessment of the application. In my e-cas appeared that they send me mail on 21 February but they send me respond instead on 24 May.
It is very hard waiting, but no other way except to wait.

hello everybody..
i need some help!!!
i am a dentist ..i applied in july with a total of 67points..which included the points for my 2 years experience from june2008 to june 2010 ..from july2010 i started working in dental wing of our own hospital(my father in law is a sugeon)..and the appointment letter was given to me by my father in law and he pays me a fixed amount as my pay as he does to other employees..(so not a frank private practice as such, v live in a joint family)..this july i.e july 2011 i got a job in a dental college and i joined it ..however i also am working in the clinic in the evenings..wat do i do?i mean what do i tell the visa office..this is also not a change of employment as such coz i do work in the clinic in the evenings..and more over the college pays me half the amount of wat i was paid in the clinic(i joined it because it gives u more exposure to the latest techniques and u get to know more eeperienced ppl in ur field etc),so wud that bother the visa office..
plz help!!!

My RPRF BD is with NDVO since 15 days but no encashment ??? ??? ???

Yesterday, I think, I got the 2nd AOR dated 20 July 2011 from Singapore. and my status is IN PROCESS since July 22. address disappeared 29 July 2011!! :-X

Yesterday we received our MR + RPRF from our consultant, the letter from CHC was dated 25 July 2011. Me and my husband are scheduled for medicals on Saturday 13 August 2011.

Is there any average time to hear back from Buffalo Visa office after receiving the documents at Visa office? Here are my timelines.

App sent: Dec 24th 2010
First Communication: March 9th 2011.
Documents: Sent all the documents at one shot (Including IELTS)
Arranged Employment: Yes
Documents sent to visa office: March 20th 2011 (Around 20th)
Second Communication: Waiting. (what would be the communication? Any guess?)

Prior Information on file: Ecas was showing "RBVO" since 8th July,2011

1. Received AOR from NDVO dated 3rd Aug.....(Maybe slow,but working)
2. Postal mail received at the address on 10th Aug (7 days in transit...not bad)
3. Gist of the message in the letter from VO:

a. Confirmation that NDVO has received the FULL package
b. NDVO will take 10 months to finalize from the date received at VOi.e from 3rd Aug,2011
c. Contact NDVO after 6months, if there is no communication from VO
d. If there is a need for Interview, VO will contact 1 month before the Interview date
Ecas was showing "RBVO" since 8th July,2011

This is my suggestion for NDVO applicants:

1.To wait patiently for 6 months from the date of AOR from NDVO (We all know that for sure....stale news!!!!)
2.If one does not hear anything by the end of 5th month, order for CAIPS....because you will get just one month to prepare for Interview and it takes 1month to process an application of CAIPS.

Whenever the CIC propose new rules, they hold the applications for a long period, which are still in process and on which no decision has been made.

In 2003 CIC prpose new rules and all the applications filed before June 2003 are kept on hold. Many cases are still pending till date.

In 2008 CIC prpose new rules and al the applications filed before Feb 2008 are kept on Hold. Many cases are still pending till date.

In 2010 CIC propose new rules and al the applications filed before June 2010 are kept on Hold. Many cases are still pending till date.

In 2011 CIC propose new rules..............so????
