even i tried and got the same response.....not eligible....whereas my total score is 87 points with AEO
I also tried but got positive response as FSW1.
Im not sure why there is such a difference as my previous tatal score was 76 points.

Re-Come to Canada tool
I would certainly advise everyone to ignore this tool and anything it says. It is clearly not functioning in any way correctly and should be ignored until CIC have put it right. I am so sorry that it has made anyone worried about their eligibility.
I think the whole thing from the very first question is flawed.
Both my husband and I tried entering our details as they were when we applied and received different responses. This was because in question 1) it asks what do you wan to do in Canada?
I replied "move there" , which I took to be the correct response if we wanted to immigrate, while my husband responded "work", which he took to be the correct response for our situation. I received a "you are not eligible" result, which we all know to be untrue as we have a permanent job in Canada in NOC A,B or O and 87 points, so we are certainly eligible for Cat 2. My husband got the "you may be eligible to work temporarily" response, which is fine if that is all you want to do but we also want to live there as permanent residents.
Also, as I think I have already mentioned, the list does not include all the Cat 1 list of in-demand jobs, so even if you are on the current list then you are not included necessarily on this checking list and so might be misinformed by it as to your potential for immigration.
Also, the links to the PNP pages provided do not work (at least the two I tried didn't), so it really is very little use as an indicator of eligibility at all.
I used the tool and I was eligible.

we did our medicals on 21st july but no update in ecase yet and my address has reappeared in my address.

The reason why many people are not eligible with the new tool is the IELTS.

If you apply in a profession that requires a university degree, you are expected to have a high proficiency in all categories of the IELTS while crane operators etc do not.

This is part of the review done earlier in the year to judge different professions by different standards in order to attract more people from the lower/ non academic categories.

Although on our thread only 2 visas have so far been issued, there have been other passport requests and quite a few medicals done now - so I think we'll be seeing quite a few more visas for London over the next month or two.

Baring in mind our thread represents maybe only 3% of the total post-June-2010 applications, when you see only 2 visas it's likely that actually 60 or so have been issued. I was standing in the queue to collect ours with about 12 other people, so they are definitely issuing visas!

Wayne.

thank you hussam , i sent you PM to your inbox.

Dear Canadahopes,

I am agreed to mitali`s reply.

No need to worry on it. Wait for your turn.

Good Luck...

I clearly misunderstood your earlier post. Sorry about that.

No, the stamping in your PP for "PCC issued for NZ and UK" will not affect your processing. This is like availing PCC for Canada even though the applicant has not been in Canada.

Dear Chhayal,

Its really not Normal as you have no information on it.

Have you applied it via any consultant ? If yes then contact to him ASAP.

If No . Then have you ever tried to contact CIO ? If No then contact them ASAP for status.

What instrument you used for payment ? If its BD --- Does it encashed till now ? If CC then does it charged till now ?

Try to find the answers of all this point to know the status of your application...

Hope this will help to some extent.
Good Luck

Regards
Mayank
