I wouldn't trust this Come to Canada tool, I'm afraid, Mayank.
I just tested it out using our information and it told me we were not eligible! We certainly are eligible for Category 2 FSW! It also doesn't help you to know about the PNP options - it is just for FSW by the looks of it, so its usefulness in helping someone who is in the early stages of deciding whether they qualify to immigrate to Canada is extremely limited.
Thanks for suggesting it, though. :)
For this new tools it seems that one must have IELTS score at hand to answer for the language skills.

The new tool doesn't ask for actual IELTS results, just an honest assessment of your skills in the 4 areas as Basic through to High.
The problem with it is that it shows many applicants as being ineligible when they are in fact eligible for FSW. On another forum, many applicants have tried it entering their own perfectly acceptable details and it has shown them as being ineligible for FSW immigration, which is just what it did to us.
One thing that might be an indication of things to come is that there are only 24 occupations mentioned on there, not 29.
Pharmacist and Registered Nurse are both missing along with 3 others that I am not sure about yet.
Perhaps this is a clue to what will be on a revised list?

Yes! this is astonishing as both Pharmacist and Registered Nurse are in high demand and reached the cap very early in post 26 june 2010.

Or, more likely, CIC just messed it up!

This should tell you if you are eligible based on the current rules, so these 5 NOCs should only be dropped from the eligibility tool once they are actually dropped from the in-demand list.

Wayne.

I think they missed it. :o :o
