Congratulation ASaif for the positive update :)

I also got the same requirements dated 14th July as well, but no PCC required ,only updated forms (Application for PR, Background/Declaration) .But there is no mentioning about the medical and they gave me 45 days to send the documents

ASaif ,I think we have the same timeline ,we have the same noc ,we got "In process" on the same day ,and the same requirements for update on the same day also.

Hopefully we got the medicals sooon :)

Ahmed
congratulations Ahmed

Hi, to the best of my knowledge an application counts towards the cap after the completeness check is completed. I imagine the bank draft or credit card slip is sent to the relevant CIO accounts department at that point, and from there it may take a few days to process the payment, and a few days for that to clear at the other end.

So I think that someone's application will count towards the cap BEFORE the payment is actually taken.

However, since I don't work at CIO all I can really do is intelligently guess!
Not much you can do but wait - did you pay by credit card or bank draft?

Also the figures shown only include the applications which have been opened, as of 29 July 2011. So it is fair to assume they also had other applications waiting which had not yet been opened. However, if your file actually arrived at CIO at 8th July 2011 then I cannot imagine it will miss the cap.

Wayne.

Thnx Wayne for the reply,

I paid by BD.

I'll start to worry only if it's not cashed even after 6 weeks of receipt.

Thanks once again.

It should be easy to prove the date the request was delivered to you, and that you are not responsible for the long delay between CHC Singapore sending and your receiving.

I would send an urgent fax to CHC Singapore stating you have only just received their passport request with 3 months delay and as a result their deadline has passed, and that you will be sending the passports as soon as possible.

I don't think they'll reject you once they know about the delay, but I would hurry so they don't reject you before they hear about it.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Thank you so much Waine for your valuable advise.
As per committed I have to let consultant to know this first and to ask him for contacting with CIC on my behalf.
Lets see and pray.
I sincerely congratulate you and all other forum member who have passed this dreadful process.

Ok. Bank draft will take longer to appear cashed than credit card, since it takes around 5 days to clear even when CIC have taken it to the bank.

Also, it won't appear on your usual bank statement you will have to phone the bank to find out if they have presented it for cashing or not.

But I certainly don't think there's anything to worry about yet, and my personal opinion is if your application reached CIO as early as 8th July then you should definitely be within the cap. Of course, that's just my opinion I can make no promises!

Hope you hear something soon,
Wayne.

Today I got PPR via registered mail but it is shocked to see that date of issuance the letter is 09 May while today it is already 02 Aug. The date of postal is 29 July so it takes almost 3 months to send the PPR from CIC Singapore. Now I am desperate to wait for my consultant for contact with CIC for lengthen the deadline of submitting PP now.
Do they approve for this or they would refuse it? I have been followed seniors' advise to be patient and not to send inquiries to CIC after medical is sent for more than 3 months. And now it turn out that I was fallen behind the deadline
How to do now if CIC reject only due to the lateness :'( :'( :'(

Congrats and I hope things go well and you receive visas soon..

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Guys,
Today I received a letter from London VO asking for updated forms (Application for PR, Background/Declaration), updated police certificates from my current country of residence (UAE), evidence of sufficient funds, photographs of my children, and RPRF.
They stated that the Medical Instructions will be issued upon receipt, and asked me to send a request to withdraw an old pending application (since 2007).
The letter is dated 14th July. They gave me 60 days to send these documents.

Based on your experience, when shall I expect the medical examination documents (given I send these documents within a couple of days)?
