I agree wayne. I know you hate negetive talks like the way I used to till sometime back. But I am embarassed now to be addressed as always+ve now as I have not been able to remain always+ve and I feel really negetive as even after submitting my pps 4.5 months ago I am still under bg checks and people much after me our already preparing to fly out. Apologise for being so pessimistic. For updates I will use refer to my old profile name as well.

Thanks

Hi - I have amended your name on the spreadsheet to "Sujat_Reshma" as requested.

However unless the moderators can change your forum profile name as well, you will need to include the name "Sujat_Reshma" with your update requests for the spreadsheet, otherwise spreadsheet admins will be looking for always+ve! ;)

And how will moderators change my profile name

Not even sure it's possible - but if you PM "admin" the moderator may be able to change it for you.

Pradeep,

I did type this three times to not to proceed and get bank draft for the Receiver General for Canada!

Wayne,

Sorry it is not any disrespect.

Buffalo works differently. The letter, I received and many of my friends in the last two years are the same. The draft should be in favour Canadian Consulate General and it can be either CAN DOLLARS or USD. The amount is same $490 CAD or USD.

thanks
entemaria

Hi entemaria, sorry I meant to reply to this at the time - but somewhat more heated topics took over! :)

Just to say I am sorry for inadvertently providing any misleading information. The vast majority of visa offices ask for RPRF to be payable to "Receiver General for Canada" in Canadian dollars, and usually a different payee for their own currency.

Clearly Buffalo is an exception! But good information, so thanks for pointing it out :)

Dear Sujat_Reshma (always+ve),

As I see in your profile you sent your passport twice: March 16th and old passport June 4th.
Could you kindly brief me regarding this issue, what is new and old passport, ...

Regards
Bahman

What a hide and seek game by CIC, my address disappear again. last time disappear on 20-21 and reappear on 23.

Dear Katy and Mayank,

Thank you very much.
I wish all the best for you and all forumers.

Bahman

Hi Asharu,

Firstly, congratulations for your baby.
Secondly, did you get a letter from you Visa Office or its just RBVO in the e-case ?

Regarding the application update, yes you will need a copy of the baby's passport (just a photocopy, notarization is commonly done for experience and other official documents). So I advise you to start obtaining the passpost as fast as you can

In the meantime, you need to send an explanatory letter to your Visa office (by case specific or email or DHL, mentioning your file number) informing them about the change in your family composition, ask them to provide you with instructions how to add your baby to your application for permenant residance.

After that, they will send you a list of required docuemnts, you will perpare the complete file and send them altogather by post or DHL.

Good Luck!

Magdy

thanks magdy for your wishes and valuable insight.
yes, i got a 2nd AOR letter from VO dated 18th april. i have already sent them a case specific inquiry via the portal system, but i am quite reluctant about their promptness.. i will send them fax also will write them an email. lets see how it goes?????
thanks
