FriendS, who believe tht address appear or disappeared fact always bring some news, friends, I wud like to know mine address disappeared on last friday and reappeared on sunday, but no change...so can I expect some news in few days or not??

Based on the observation on this thread, address disappearance doesn't always mean a progress. For some, it may just be as a result of system upgrade or transfer of information from one part of the IT infrastructure to another. However some people have reportedly got MR, PPR etc after their addresses disappeared, which may imply that sometimes when VO starts to work on our files, our addresses may temporarily disappear. So when it happens to you, just hope for the latter. We can only hope though, nothing is cast in stone

Let people begin to respect people's:

1. Religious choices.
2. Decision to use consultants or not.
3. Right to their own opinions.
4. Right to apply for immigration and leaving the validation to CIC.
5. Right to do what it takes to escape difficult personal circumstances.

Not recognising all of these is childishness.

Maturity is about decisiveness and I don't think being decisive has anything to do with age.

If everyone focusses on discussing immigration matters and not criticising personal choices, this forum will be better for it.

Hi Cappuccino,

Please reply to my question.
I'm a post 1st july 2011 applicant (1122, date rcvd- 8th July)

In a scenario, where no one after application received date of 6th July has reported CC/BD encashment ( many people before this date too are still awaiting encashments ) & new cap updates showing 259 application for 1122 as of 29th July.

My question is : Have CIO Guys finished checking completeness of files till 29th July . All those who filed before that are in , if their files are complete .

OR

As the last encashment ( very few) reported was of 6th July application.Does it indicate that files only till the date of 6th July have been checked.

At this rate, the cap for 1122 will be full in 3-4 days. Do I stand a chance.??

Hi Indira and All Seniors:

Cheer up. This forum is the best help one can get as a FSW applicant. I am a living breathing example.... I got stuck many times and got pront advise, direction or comparion and emotional support from seniors and ppl in general. What some people like Advance123 says dont count.

Indira_prab is one of the cloolest and thats why I am Happy to informing on your comment that from SGVO we have recedived for Visa and currently having the best time after my honeymoon

folks, finally some good news!

Received Medicals plus request for passports and RPRF from ND office.

Letter dated June 29th....Canada post dated July 7th.

It was sent to my previous address (I had faxed/emailed address update note 6 months before!) No clue what happened between July 7th to July 27th but I am just glad to receive it finally! Lovely Canada Post strike didn't help me much.

Question: Deadline to submit everything is Aug 13th and I doubt if medical results will get to ND from here by this date. Any suggestions? Take test and let them know about postal strike, delay in receiving the package etc?

I am hoping that I may receive my passport in the next 5 wks, their later states approx 6 wks. Although I believe it varies from 4-8 wks!! Not long now for you either!!
