You'll get MR soon, maybe tomorrow, who know? they sent MR by normal mail, not register mail. I saw it in my mail box.

Mitali,

It is interesting !!!. If I knew this I would have done my medicals early.

When Canada introduced fast track student visa processing for students from China and India, they introduced a scheme that students can file their medicals along with application. I think it is called SPSS. I always thought why don't they introduce to immigration so that processing ti me will be less. Especially for people like me, I have done my medicals before entering in Canada. I work in Canada and pay tax. I have upgraded all my credentials and equivated with Canadian education. I also studied in Canada.

Please update me if you can research and find it.

hi entemaria,

Found it.....check the link below post # 13 and the applicant (burcu) is from Buffalo VO. The post is dated May 20,2011...so pretty recent. burcu is Toronto based according to his profile.

So, with that info, Medicals can be done before the formal request from VO but a bit risky but the choice is with the applicant.

And this is the link from Qorax regarding Meds without Forms from Vo and the pros and cons of doing Meds before formal request.

avi_15,

My fingers crossed for you. Buffalo VO is showing some progress, these days and hope your MR comes this week. Please track regular mails. The guy who deliver in our neighbourhood always deliver the mail from same house number but different street address to our mail box. I never get angry with him but became the most polite guy and asking him if he found any mail from CIC or Buffalo VO. Buffalo VO gave me a lot of lessons of patience.

Mitali

Mitali,

Thanks a lot for your quick research. I have to tell you since the case is so recent one and we do not know what is the result yet, his case is not advisable to follow. Did you notice that he send two case specific enquiries to that effect and never got any reply. I always got reply in four days from Buffalo VO. It is strange.

I wish if we could do our medicals before VO aks, then atleast people who were expecting babies or new born babies can go for medicals without any delay instead of waiting formalities. I saw many people are delayed their process for such reasons.

It is an excellent idea to bring to CIC Ministry, when they successfully experimented for student visa.

Thanks again
