Fantastic news!
Happy birthday!

Did you submit PCC(s) along with your application initially as well?
This might be a dumb question but are you in the US?
I submitted PCCs with my inial application to CIO. At that time, they were more than 3 months. no wonder why they ask to submit the new ones. I am still in US

May I ask you something:
Did they send your wife medical forms to you? And now she is not in Canada how she can do the medicals? can you send her the forms and she go to a registered doctor somewhere else and send back the forms to you to submit?
My husband is not in Canada right now and he won't be here for couple of months and my concern is how we can handle the medical case if they send us the forms here while I am in Canada and he is in another country?

Thanks Mari

Yes Mari...

My spouse's medical forms are sent to me and I am planning to courier it. You can take mediclas anywhere in the world and all completed medicals are sent to OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA not to your visa office. So please not to worry about your husband's case and you can find doctors in CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2042&ProvID=15205&ProvinceName=Ontario&CountryName=Canada

cheers

thanks

Yes avi_15

It is '60 days from the date of letter'. Thats' what written. I will do my medical tomorrow but I am going to make a request an extension for my spouse since I have to courier back home and do it in stipualated time.

Did you do your medicals????

entemaria

Question for Buffalo applicants who received medical request.
Did they ask you guys to submit medical request and RPRF at the same time? I only received medical and PCC request, not RPRF.
Thank you

Hi GoHerd, I am so happy for you. How much time do you have to submit both MRs and PCC? Have you requested new PCC from FBI?
My congratss to you!!!

That's nice to hear that Buffalo has sent all MRs to main applicant. Our princess is now in other country so we don't need to worry about possible courier loss over there when the time comes.
Thanks entemaria :)

hi Entermaria,

you don't have to complete medicals together with your wife, she can undergo medical exam in different country or city. write a cover letter explaining difference between doctors taking exams, that should be sufficient.

i refer to post by Qorax quite some time ago, it was AFAIR about applicant in Japan and Philippines (wife or daughter were in Philippines, while PA was in Japan).

regards,
Coffee

You are right Coffee,

I am a Social Worker cum law student and have helped a few friends in their immigration. They all have received and one of the applicant's husband and child were in India while she worked here. They all did medicals at different place and all medicals come to Ottawa, Canada not to VISA OFFICE in Buffalo.

I knew it but my difficulty is my spouse is not in a position to go for medicals for another 30 days due to some personal reasons. I am also planning to send some other documents for my spouse's registration as pharmacist so just waiting courier all documents together. Once it reaches my home country, my spouse will do the medicals there but by the time the stipualted time to 'proceed' for medicals will be over but they have given a provision for getting an extension. I am going to get an extension.

We don't need a cover letter with medicals since Designated Medical Practitioners are sending the courier with completed medicals directly.

Thanks for your input.

Hi Entemeria,

Coffee is right. You can do your Medicals separately. You can scan and send her the Medical form and check online the nearest DMP for her and she can book the appointment for herself. Both the reports will go separately from the DMP to the VO. As suggested by Coffee, you can send a cover letter with the details of your spouse's DMP and the reason why the Medicals are being sent separately.

Mitali

You are right Mitali and Coffee too,

I do not how all VOs are working but I am certain that BUFFALO VO is not asking DMPs to send medicals to VO but to OTTAWA, CANADA. My delay is not because we are planning to do it together but rather it some personal reasons and some courier delay that always you can expect when sending my spouse's Medical Request to my home country.

Thanks for your input.
