I am also worried, you know, I just need to have some solid information in hand.
Are you planning to land then come back or move permenantly from the first time ?

Magdy
I think you will wait until Cairo VO receives your baby's medical results.for our landing, we will move permenantly when we land .But we may not catch this summer ???

Yeah of course. It is the waiting thing that kills :)

God be with you Engy, I wish you land in summer just not to face the bold winter from the first time.

Hi com2canada

Thanks a lot

I have only 60 days to 'proceed' (term used in their letter) for Medical. I am not able to complete it before the deadline since my sposue lives in another country. I will request for an extension citing the mail dlivery was delayed for 22 days (eventhough my mail does not contain any satmp for delivery date)

I am doing my medicals day after tomorrow and I will send RPRF ASAP

I went in process on June 15 and my ECAS showed it on June 20. My date for MR is actually June 29 in the Request letter.

Is that is sufficiennt info for you? if not please ask me, I will provide you.

Regards
entemaria

May I ask you something:
Did they send your wife medical forms to you? And now she is not in Canada how she can do the medicals? can you send her the forms and she go to a registered doctor somewhere else and send back the forms to you to submit?
My husband is not in Canada right now and he won't be here for couple of months and my concern is how we can handle the medical case if they send us the forms here while I am in Canada and he is in another country?

Thanks Mari

It's been 2 months since the medicals are done and over one months since the PPs have been submitted to NDVO but no update on eCAS and no other communication from the VO. I am not even sure if everything's fine with the medicals and other stuff. It's much harder to wait at this point of time as compared to the earlier stages of process. ???

Dear Wayne:

CONGRATS on your visa.

Other Seniors who received visa, specially from Singapore VO Pls share your experience and direction:

I am a post June 1122 applicant from BD with application sent in Oct 2010 and Med Req received in April 2011.

I received PP request early June and submitted my PP at CHC Dhaka(bangladesh) early June...turned DM on June 18, but yet to receive my passport collect request from CHC Dhaka/CHC singapore!

I do realize that CHC dhaka will send registered snail mail to me for collecting passport in person and our Post offices are notoriously famous for delaying delivery of REGISTERED mails......but now getting a bit stressed without my passport......I am in a job which requires travel abroad. I have already declined my office twice during the last 52 days since I submitted my PP.

Manji

Sorry to hear of your long delay. We went in process on the same day as you and got MR one month later on 13 April 2011.

However, some people get MR almost immediately after going in process so seems big disparity for some applicants, I guess depending on the speed of the visa officer and the complexity of the case.

Can I please ask is there anything about your case which is not straight-forward? Have you lived in several different countries?

Wayne.

I would send a case-specific query to both bangladesh and singapore chcs explaining your situation. Perhaps tell them that since your ecas shows decision made you are concerned that they may have already sent you a letter to collect your passport and owing to the unreliable post, it may be delayed.

Dear Wayne,
Thanks for your concern. IMO my case is very straight forward, Job with only one company from the last 10 years, never been in any other country, married with no kids. Actually i didn't include my PCC with my initial application and when my case went to In Process on 15 March, I was asked in April to submit PCC which i did in early may, and now this week i received my educational documents and marriage certificate back from CHC London.
