At RBVO stage they calculate points further, if score is less than pass mark, they can reject file for insufficient points also but same takes have done CIO at first stage. That means RBVO also danger zone????

CIO is more focused on the completion of application and supporting documents. They do not look deep into the authenticity of the documents provided. If you will send them all required documents, they will accept it. It is VISA OFFICE job to verify that all the documents are authentic and are not fabricated in any manner. So yes, danger is there in this stage or any other stage, if visa office cannot justify the authenticity of any document.

I hope it is helpful.

Hello all!

A few days ago, I received instructions by the London VO to submit updated versions of the IMM8 forms for me and my spouse.

I was just thinking - should I submit the new version of the forms or the same old ones, as I submitted earlier?

Can anyone guide me on this?

Wayne?

Thanks & regards

Raheel

CIC are accepting "old" style forms until 14 November 2011. If you already have everything saved I would simply re-print and re-sign the old forms. We sent re-printed forms a couple of months ago.

Their main reason for asking for new forms is just to check that no information has changed since you applied, and it's fairly standard practice for London.

Oh i totally forgot that we also have a University Registrar in this forum.

But whatever Wayne said is quite right.

No offence to you Wayne, but i prefer to keep things straight and precise. Because i am not addicted to write lengthy scripts.

by the way who is the Registrar here :o

Yes VO can reject applications during their own eligibility review, prior to background document checks.

It is rare for VO to disagree with CIO, but VO do another eligibility review to ensure CIO did not make any errors, and in some borderline cases VO has failed the applicant's eligibility review, even though CIO gave them a positive review.

But as I say, I think such cases are rare.

As i have mentioned earlier, that disappearance of address can lead to two things:

1. Positive Result
2. No Result

So in either case, nothing to worry about.

You are right Maani
2 times I got positives results when my address disappeared. but this time nothing happend mean no result.

Thanks and Regards

I would like to know about Proof of fund required at the time of Port of entry - Landing Canada. - what is the minimum & maximum canadian dollar we can take with us.

Also can we show Bank FD ,Shares & Mutual Funds amount (INR) at the time of immigration process @ canada airport

Should we have fund in canadian dollar only or INR would work. like 5000$ + remaining INR (indian bank FD, Indian Stock valuation etc)?

Please guide me so I can plan.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, FD and Stocks are totally acceptable. Any legel tender (in other words currecny of any country) is acceptable as long as it is equal to the required amount in Canadian Dollars.
