Some callous people have set out to get posts deleted.

Isn't that rather immature?

If those people are confident of what they are writing they won't set out to delete them and they won't go about deleting other peoples posts too.

For the record - I have had some of my posts deleted too, I can assure you that I have not in any way contacted admins requesting to delete anyone's posts, other than my 1 public request to have the "Wayne Appreciation" thread deleted which was a reply in that thread.

Admins do monitor the forums and sometimes delete posts if they feel they are not appropriate.

Wayne.

What is Caips note??? what are benefits of Caips note?

CAIPS notes (or more likely GCMS notes now) are a print-out of your file from the CIC computer system. It is far more detailed than ECAS and can show things like assessment scores, brought forward dates and any comments the visa officer may have made on your file. The printout takes some decyphering because much of the information is represented by codes.

They take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive after you order them. Anyone in Canada can order them for free, I think if you get someone in Canada to order them on your behalf there is a small charge ($5 or so) and a larger charge if you use a company to do it for you. You cannot order them yourself from outside of Canada.

One funny thing on my ECAS shows that
"We received your application for permanent residence on August 12, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 29, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 3, 2011. "

However i have no letter dated on Nov 29. The letter dated on 2nd AOR is Feb 16. Any idea guys. Did i miss a correspondence?

Also, the average processing times are taken from which date, from PER or the date in which case status changed to in process.

Thanks in advance

Wayne,

I'm not accusing you. I have no idea who is doing it and even if it is admin, I still think it is wrong.

I like to make reference to my comments and be held accountable for it.

Our discussions get over heated occasionally. Isn't that normal in the real world?

If we all spend time together, there will be falling outs and making ups. That's what makes us human.

So the reporters on this forum should stop it.

Hi nitroxn,
It's the PER which you received by mail. In everybody's e-case status it is mentioned same that they have reviewed your application and send a letter on so and so date.

I don't think there any necessarily any "reporters". During various disagreements I've noticed (both involving and not involving myself) on this forum I have noticed posts deleted.

This is David Cohen's forum and its moderators can delete any posts they deem inappropriate. Since this is the largest and busiest thread in terms of posts per day, it is not unreasonable to think that this is also the most heavily moderated thread.

Hi Pavan,

Assuming you don't know a permanent resident or citizen in Canada who can order them on your behalf, there are several third party companies out there that will do it.

www.caipsnotes.com is one of the most popular ones but I think there are others - just ferret around on Google. Prices probably vary slightly from company to company so I'd advise shopping around to get the best price.

Fair enough. I hope you are right.
