The number of permanent resident visas issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada between January and March fell from 84,083 in 2010 to 63,224 this year.

Not a good sign.

RBVO will happen immediately once CHC receives the file(can only be checked in ECAS)... but 2AOR it is generally after the file is handed over to some VO.

Hi all
A friend of mine who is Cairo VO applicant already got medical done and sent and , today he checked on USA Lottery site, he was selected for Diversity Lottery VISA :o
Now he is confused, stop his Canada PR and proceed for USA DV Visa , should he inform CIC and his Visa Office??? or he can go in parallel applications Canada and USA, specially that DV lottery is not guranteed after selection , processing and waiting is also there :-\
what is your advice !!!!!!! 8)
thanks
