I am really sorry the way things are turning out for you!! Yes it IS stupid lamination ..... ....Same happened to me and Ravi (dsvrk) .... and to CB also. But we all are from NDVO and if I am not wrong even you may be having an Indian PP. So there seems to be a genuine problem with our PPs ...... :'( ...... Not going much deep into this ... we had only one solution --> getting a new / fresh passport. Here in India there is no other way to so called fix the thing (PP) except getting the new one. Please contact our embassy in UK ...and get the thing fixed or replaced / issued with a fresh one. ....All the best ...Take care.

My mail address has been gone.others including e-cas status show as the same as previous(RBVO).Can anyone suggest what might happen in this case?

In this period can NDVO inquiry about my job? Please help me seniors who have passed this situation(e-cas address disappeared.).I am waiting for your kind replies.....

Dear Ash bhai

RPRF is usually encased after they get the confirmation from all divisions/ departments / corners ... including medicals ..that you are fit for PR ...BUT again it depends on VO to VO, when they feel that it is NOW safe to deposit the RPRF into their bank. So chill ....it will be done with time .... or just try to compare with other applicants from same VO ....

Again a very common thing / query that is being asked - "Address gone in eCAS ...What's next" ....I can say only one thing ..... it is our (thread members....including me) guess - If our address disappears from eCAS, then we can assume that we may get an update / communication from our respective VOs. It can be anything ...a query, a negative decision, an interview, next step in the process, or even nothing (if it is a bug... :-[ ) .......
Hope this has helped many good friends / members who were asking about this address disappearance.....

Well guys there is a spanner in my application for now. My Passports reached London VO on Thursday and i received an email yesterday from them saying that the stupid lamination on my passport in off and i will need to get it fixed.

London VO also say in the email that the passport can be relaminated in Indian Embassy which i seriously doubt. Has anyone got such experience? I have read such cases on this thread but they had to get new passports.

Any help appreciated.

Sorry to hear about this, but you did mention it was a likelyhood. It will all be alright but it just means an annoying delay.
Might it not be simpler to get new passports from the Indian embassy in London? Might be worth a trip to London to sort it out and you could hand deliver the passports to CHC London at the same time (they have a drop-box) if you could sort it out that way?
