It largely depends on how busy they are, and what you ask. Queries of the "what's going on with my application?" kind tend to get ignored. More genuine queries have a better chance of a response. When our RPRF/PCCs package was originally lost by the post office, CHC London responded within 2 days.

What was your query regarding?

Wayne.

Thanks Wayne. the query was for a specific issue. It relates to some changes with my wife's circumstances. She's obtained a new passport (hence a new passport number) since we applied originally and we just want to know if we need to send update of the immigration forms to reflect the change or if just notifying them in writing would suffice.

Wayne, can you please post the link to the London VO online query just to confirm that i have the right one.

Thanks

I'm very sorry sis. My bad.

My only fear is getting to Canada in winter. Not very welcoming.

I will be processed in Accra as well because I have work experience in 9ja. I believe Accra is causing all the delays.

As long as we are still in the game, we have hope.

I won't wish you luck because I on't believe in it but I wish you favour.

Yeah, Accra is known for habitual delays, isn't it?
Tell me about it :(
Anyway, I believe the winter landing is a concern for most people; but it is looking like that's where the majority of us are headed! :o
I say a big Amen to the favour you are wishing me :)
May you know favour in this case as well

My file number is B0... The 3 times I contacted them, i sent messages to this address: re-london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

In all cases they responded to my mails. Like Wayne said, they don't tend to like responding to enquiries regarding your status

requests. They made that clear to me in their last reply. If your enquiry is about your status request, I'd rather advice you not to

contact them but if its about anything else then please do. Cheers.

Thanks Bman. They must be ignoring me then. What reference number did you use? I used my E00...file number included in PER mail. Can you please provide the link to their contact webpage, I fear I might have used a wrong one.

Hi, it's been a long time since I last entered this forum. I just want to let you know that my status has changed to In Process on 12 July (after one year and 3 days of receiving my application).

If you absolutely must enquire about your status (and really the only justification I can see for this is if your individual case is slipping a long way behind others from your timelines) - then phrase your query along the lines of "Do you require any further information or documentation from us in order to proceed?".

They must get hundreds, if not thousands, of "What's happening with my application?" type queries every day, so one can understand why they're reluctant to respond to such queries when they could be using that time to process someone's application instead.

Wayne.
