But also there are 50 or so applicants ND who applied earlier who have not had MR yet, some as early as July/Aug 2010 - so can't really say "we can expect yours very soon". Don't want to set false expectations!

Of course I hope everyone gets their MR soon, but we also have to be realistic.

Wayne.

Define expectation?

I said we can expect....i dint say he will get MR for sure......false expectation is something which we know we wont get it and still expect

Don't apply for a police certificate until they ask in my opinion. If they request it with the medicals, just do the medicals and then attach a cover letter stating you have applied for a police certificate and will mail it once you get it from the FBI.

That seems pretty much the standard way people handle this situation.
Sorry,to interrupt u my friend. But It looks like ur PCC should be fine for a whole year as it says on CIC website that---*PCC should not be older than 3 months on the date you submit it to CIO means Central Intake Office.(and not CIC).This means if u r submitting the PCC along with the PR Application which will be at CIO NS Sydney,it should not be older than 3 months..Please excuse me if I m wrong!!gu luck!

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

I agree with your analysis that the e-mail probably just disappeared in the junkmail. Where I have to disagree though, is on the assumption it was a PER. The first answer I got back in Feb was a NER and I did go check the E-cas with the number I received in the rejection e-mail and it said exactly the same as for a PER:
you get word from your regional VO and then you know it was a PER...
Sorry to maybe crush some hopes,
Kind regards,
Kris
thanks CalVds for your response, no need for sorrow , we are here to get answers from other experiences
I thought and mentioned this is up-to my knowledge so if any one else had this experience and enlighten us more , and that what happened from you
Thanks again, all the best and keep the good work

Hello friends,need some information here.

M application was received by CIO Sydney NS on January 18th 2011(FSW 2) and I received my file number on March 17th 2011.From that time till now My status is showing to 'In Process'.

and it also says-We received your application for permanent residence on January 18, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 17, 2011.Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 17, 2011.

Can anyone tell me-*How long does it usually takes to receive the MR after the file been tranferred to 'In Process' stage?
* Do they notify us if they send us the MR ?

Thank U Guys!n gud luck to u all!!!!! :)

Hi Architect!
Do you (or anybody from Cairo) know if Cairo VO is working those days or there is interruption due to the actions happenning in Tahrir ?
Good Luck to you all !
Magdy

HI Magdy
I think they are working normally at least they would say any notice in CIC website about situation in Egypt as they did during the revolution and now in Libya and Syria
In Egypt it's normal life except the Tahrir square spot
Thanks

hello fellows
it is my 1st contribution but i follow this great forum constantly. you are great people.

please guide me in my critical case:
- i applied in FSW1 NOC 3113 & my file was received on 12-Oct-2010 by cio
- i received my PER on 15-Feb-2011
- i receive 2nd AOR from Cairo VO on 29-March-2011

the problem is that i didn't receive the medical request till now & they didn't respond to any of my inquires

the question is: can i re-apply again in order to reach the 500 cap ? or the cio will reject my new file because i have a pending (not rejected yet) file ??

thanks in advance for any advice

Hi Natsmi,
My application is ok. It has been on hold for sometime because of my wife's pregnancy.
The baby has arrived. I dropped his appplication in person at CHC London on monday.
Hope to get his medical request soon so we can complete the remaining part of the processing.
My RPRF was cashed on 4th July.

Good luck to you.

Congratulation Doal !!!!, Wish you best of luck for your future. Will you share your time line?

It's been a while since i last posted in this thread and forum. Just for the updates: Done with Medicals: MAy 24, RPRF sent: May 24, Passport Request: June 20, Passports sent: June 23. Current ecas: In Process. Waiting for a DM status and our Visas of course. In a Manila VO applicant our indicator that our Visas have been stamped is if our Ecas turns to Decision Made.:-)

Congrats Khai and Doal.........get ready to fly to your dream land...........regards
