Dear friends seniors please give your advice

I am eagerly waiting for MEDICAL REQUEST. Has anyone received MR in this month?
Do you have any idea, when medical request will be issued for Jan/Feb 2011 applicants.
My e-cas is still RBVO, does it changes on weekly basis or it changes after MR?

what do you think is the reason behind this wait? it is spoiling our precious time.

with best wishes and regards
Anshuman

NDVO is working on JAN applicants....according to spreradsheet amitgoyal has recieved MR ....he filedhis application on JAN 25...so we can expect urs very soon

Three Blasts in Mumbai

We just had a travel update at work regarding this:

"EXPLOSIONS IN INDIAN CITY

Three simultaneous explosions have taken place in Mumbai. Emerging reports indicate a number of fatalities and a high level of injuries. The blasts were reported to have occurred in Dadar West, inside a shop in Zaveri Bazaar and at the Opera House in the city. The police have cordoned off the affected locations.

Official travel advice is to avoid the affected areas in Mumbai, anticipate an increased police presence and associated traffic disruption in the city and to expect increased security checks in Mumbai and other major cities in the country.

We have already commenced contacting affected travellers in Mumbai or those travelling over the next 48 hours. If you have any concerns at all about your travel plans please call your dedicated service team."

Three Blasts in Mumbai

Sorry to hear that ... Please accept my condolences to all Indian colleagues ...

I know there has been a blast last year in Mumbai also, I hope those blasts will come to an end.

Ecas [if responded in case of NER, which I doubt and no one tried it upto my knowledge ] would show CIO eligibility review complete or EVEN decision made

Architect_100

I agree with your analysis that the e-mail probably just disappeared in the junkmail. Where I have to disagree though, is on the assumption it was a PER. The first answer I got back in Feb was a NER and I did go check the E-cas with the number I received in the rejection e-mail and it said exactly the same as for a PER:
"Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) - Eligibility Review Complete" and when you click on it:
"We received your application for permanent residence on November 23, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 28, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

This means if you lose the e-mail, you have to wait until CIO either sends your file back to you (which they should because it contains some original documents!) and then you know it was a NER
or
you get word from your regional VO and then you know it was a PER...

Sorry to maybe crush some hopes,

Kind regards,
Kris

But also there are 50 or so applicants ND who applied earlier who have not had MR yet, some as early as July/Aug 2010 - so can't really say "we can expect yours very soon". Don't want to set false expectations!

Of course I hope everyone gets their MR soon, but we also have to be realistic.

Wayne.
