I mean this with respect, but rather than look at those ahead of you, why not spare a thought for those behind you?

The following users are New Delhi applicants, all of whose applications were received before yours and none of them have MR yet. In fact a great many of these earlier applications are still RBVO and are in fact behind you, even though their applications were received earlier:

So I don't think there is a problem with your particular case. Speed of visa officers and their workloads prior to receiving your case probably play a part, and regrettably that is nothing but luck. And once in process the complexity of your case (number of countries lived in, amount of documents to check etc) will play a big part in how long it takes to get through background document checks to medical requests.

Hopefully you will hear something soon, and I realise it is frustrating, but please have a little more patience

Whilst there are all these people behind you still not heard anything, I don't see what value mailing your visa office will be - since time taken responding to you with "we're still looking at your case" is time not spent actually looking at someone's case.

after reading through some posts, I'm a bit confused. After getting NER on 28 Feb 2011, we "appealed" (nothing official) through our representative and got a PER e-mail on 07 Jul 2011. Now our e-CAS status reads:
We received your application for permanent residence on November 23, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 28, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on July 7, 2011

Also our address has disappeared. After reading some posts, I would get the impression this means our application is already in the regional VO but this is nearly impossible in such a short time, no? It would of course be great news but I'm more inclined to think there is some misinterpretation of the e-cas status on the forum?

Ecas is not always accurate but when you see consistent changes in your status, it is probably correct.

Some people are already in process while their status reads RBVO. Don't get worked up about all that.

My only excitement will come when I receive the Visa.
