While waiting for London VO to take my application month, I spent the last month preparing for my PMP certification exams which I can confirm that I passed today. Just adding more qualifications in order to expand my sphere of job opportunities.

I have a question please.
My baby's passport will be ready on monday next week and I hope to send his application to London VO same day.
Since passport collection point and CHC London are not very far for me to drop his application, can I deliver his application by hand to London VO?
Has anybody done that before?
Pls reply. Thanks

Shalom

Hi - we went to this last October.

Honestly, it wasn't very good! We had talks by two immigration consultants - Brazolot and Goldman - both of whom knew comfortably less about the post-June-2010 process than me. Goldman in particular was awful, he said FSW1 was a waste of time because it was a "lottery" with only 20,000 out of 200,000 getting visas, and that we should do FSW2 instead (so that he could make a bundle out of getting us a job via his recruitment firm and another bundle getting us a visa).

The stalls weren't great either - all the job related stalls were for New Zealand and Australia and the few Canada ones scheduled to be there were not there.

We got some useful advice on pet transportation (back when we were considering taking our cat!) and money transfer.

But overall we felt it was a wasted trip down to London, and my advice would be to try to find a better expo.

We actually went to a really good expo in Feb 2009 when we first started our interest in Canada. They actually had someone from CHC London as a guest speaker there. However, I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the expo! It was near Heathrow I think.

Wayne.
