Wel the interview went for atleast 25-30 mins. She asked everything regarding my employee & abt ma work shifts. Before calling me , dey even called my employer & cross checked ma answers....So it was prety much shaking..lolz

Just the same anxiety at my end... Only thing is I have become so used to seeing my E-CAS as "RBVO" that I just check it mechanically daily, very much mentally prepared to see the same "RBVO"... I wonder if I will notice it if it even if turns "IN PROCESS"!!! :D

Jokes apart, this is really getting on the nerves... But one good thing is this Forum... One has so many similar experiences to refer to, console self and also vent out too!

Cheers to everyone's patience and wishing everyone very good luck with every new day!

Well Said. I cannot think of any other explanation and I am getting crazy of checking our ECAS maybe 50 times or more a day. The first thing I think of as soon as I wake up is if we change into "In Process" today or nowadays even address disappearing. At the end of the day when I deparately find no chamge in my ECAS, I go to bed exhusted and just wish if tomorrow brings a change. I can touch all those friends who posted sad stories of their cases.

There is only one big issue here:

I have been following people who get their medicals withinh the past weeks and I think there is something notable; It's neither VO nor NOC which makes the difference, however it seems files which have been received in October 2010 are obviously not being treated as others.
A friend here in the forum who filed only 15 days before me on September 28, got decision made from Damascus VO :o however BhaktiUjjwal from New Delhi visa office, which is one of the fastest, is still RBVO. I am totally confused

Very true. A very close friend of mine+her husband applied on 20th September 2010 (NDVO), category 7216, the E-CAS for them is "IN PROCESS" since 28th February 2011 and they haven't heard anything as yet!!! So it is totally haywire!

Only prayers can work, I guess.

Visa office can ask to see proof of funds at any time during the process. There are various myths about whether or not visa office can check the balance of your account through a special arrangement with the banks, during the background checks.

Personally I am unsure it is true, since the laws in each country governing this will be different. But they can certainly ASK to see proof of funds again at any stage.

My advice would be if you need to withdraw try to only use 10% or so and make sure you can replace this within 45 days if visa office ask for additional proof of funding documents.

Agreed to what u said.......but don't u think its unfair with the London VO applicants to maintain balance consistantly without knowing that how much time yet the office would take......? its okay to maintain balance in account for the applicants belonging to the offices with fair process times.....but as its known to all that London VO is used to be creeping with the applicants, so unfortunalty....so maintaining the balance in dire needs as i m facing right now, is another unforeseen problem and another test of our patience :(

I think as long as you can replace the money within a small timeframe (say 30 to 60 days) you will be ok. But visa office need to be convinced that the money will be readily available when you land in Canada, and it is hard to be convinced of that if the applicant has spent some or all of the funds!

But I agree about the borrowed funds (something which you may have noticed from some of my past posts I have a bee in my bonet about!).

What annoys me is why don't CIO insist you include 12 months statements at that stage? Ween out all the fund-borrowing fraudsters before the visa offices need to bother with them? Currently CIO are accepting only a bank certificate with the balance, and then visa office are asking for statements, but that's much later on.

I know for a fact several people on this forum, and even one or two members of this thread, who have borrowed money and illegally claimed it as theirs on their forms and sent only a bank certificate to conceal the borrowed funds from CIC. But by the time the visa office gets to look at it probably 6 months will have already past.

Borrowing funds is no less fraudulent than fake job offers/degree certificates/work experience letters etc.

So I just hope visa offices ask for 12 months statements as standard practice so these people are caught out.

Wayne.

There are pepole on the forum waiting for almost 27 weeks after receving PER and now almost a year since thier app was received by CIO and still waiting. London VO is quite erratic in processing application. There is nothing to be worried about. Waiting is the name of the game here.

Dear Seniors,

Once you have received medical / RPRF Fee requests, is it safe to assume that the interview has been waived ?? Or could we still be facing an interview ??
