Hi Ram,

thanks for your response!
am based in oman and have applied under same NOC and our timelines are also almost same.
lets stay in touch and advice eachother on our case developments.
my app was received by CIO on 8th July 2010, and have done medicals on 22nd jun 2011. now waiting for passport request. what u think when(how many days) will we get this?

also, am from chandigarh and u?

cheers!

Montu, Surely lets keep in touch.
I think from the date the VO receives Medical results / RPRF Draft, it would take approx 2 months to get passport request. I hope for me It does not come earlier than Mid September , as I have an official travel lined up in September, and CAN NOT miss it..

Cheers

My e-case is still the same: "RBVO" w/ no address :(

Is it really wisable to send the RPRF to them though they didn't ask for it?
Dear fighter,
I just checked the op6 booklet.it says (page 12)
"Payment of the right of permanent residence fee (RPRF) is required before issuance of permanent resident visas"

therfore, i think it's wise to send passport + RPRF(plus a cover letter explaining why you attach RPRF) to SGVO otherwise they will not stamp Visa on your passport.

Dr.Hasib

Dear Dr. Hasib:

I agree with you but I don't know to whom the pay order should be issued (is it to CIO canada as earlier or SGVO)......moreover to whom I need to send the RPRF is also unknow. In PPR they told me to submit my PP to my country Canadian Embassy. and they clearly mentioned that if I send the PP to them directly then all liability should be on my shoulder.

I already have send a case specific enquiry to them....Let's see what they suggest. What do you think? Please help me to take correct decision.
