DEAR ALL ,
WISH TO HAVE FEEDBACK -how much time is it taking on average for post jun 2010 applications under lon vo to get visa after medicals sent.
thanks...

There is very little sample to get an average time. It is ranging from 1 month to 2 months for the 3 or 4 people who have progressed from medical to ppr.

I really nee your feedback on this. I applied under FSW2 with a Canadian job offer (arranged employment for those currently in Canada- Post Graduate Work Permit). I just got offered a great job/higher NOC that starts off with a one year contract with a possibility of renewal. I am wondering what the consequences of taking this job would have on my application since it was my current employer who gave me the offer of permanent employment.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Actually cos non of FSW2 in Buffalo has been processed yet, I don't know how much delay it may cause in your application. And maybe you need to have a permanent job offer from your new employer too. Go to the link below, This is the only information available and my understanding is you have to have a permanent job offer but I am not sure.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me;where our E cases are updated, respective VO, CIC or in Ottawa??

Hi all,

It's been awhile since I've visited and it seems like there has been very little or no progress at Buffalo. Like many of you, I am really frustrated with the situation as the Minister had publicly stated that post june 26 2010 files would be processed in 12 months and also that many applicants who submitted months later are now receiving requests for medicals or their visas (I am happy for you all or course)!

Is there anything we can go on our part? someone in another forum suggested putting together a letter and sending it to the mission or the minister. If Buffalo has such a big backlog why can't they shift files around as they did with warsaw and damascus?? Sorry for the rant, I'm just getting really frustrated with the whole situation!

Hi Admin, I took my passport back with visa today. ;D It was granted on 21 Jun, 2011. The status has not been changed to "Visa Granted" though. Will it change like that soon?

Congrats...and wish you good luck... ;)

Hi Guys, London Update -

I got my Passport Request today by post (snail mail). It is dated 29th of June 2011. Wayne and Danishmaroo received it by email. So I think people outside UK get it by post. Our friend AM in Pakistan got it by email though. So there seems to be no order to it.

I have one question - On the PPR they say that the "Passport identification page should not have any delamination". I just looked at my and my wife's PP and there seems to be small delamination at one corner. Did anyone experience this, any advice/ suggestion will be welcome.

By the way for the address on ECAS followers - My ECAS still says 'in-process' but my address has disappeared.

Cheers

Many Congratulations mate...Wish you good luck and hope you get the visa soon... ;)

Sounds like a reasonable argument as long as any such action doesn't adversely affect potential upcoming progress (which we have been hoping for for months now).

Seniors, what do you suggest?

Hi Mahek,

Under FSW2, you need to have Perm FT offer, contractual which may turn in full time is not considered by VO. I can understand it would be tough to say no, but there are only 2 options, either take that offer and delay your PR or let your PR process go through and meanwhile ask the new employer to offer you perm ft offer. If you do get new offer converted to Perm FT, inform VO and take it or else wait for the process to get over and then get in touch with this employer.
