Hi ,

I applied through consultant and my ecase showing In Process and processing started on 31 May. Ecase also showing address of consultant and at the bottom mention ' update mailing address'.

Is there any need to update the address, though the address is still the same.

Mine is Paris, do you have any idea if it's gonna get back to normal ? This is really frustrating: first my ecas was saying that an answer was sent to me on March 09th, while I indeed received my PER on June 2nd and then the ecas changes to received by VO on June 27th with address disappearing and now I cannot access it at all ... :'(

Hi krokro,

Sorry to see your ecas not showing. I won't however worry so much about it though. At least you know that your application is now at the VO. From what we know of pairs VO, their processing time is not that bad, so with or without ecas you should expect some good news soon.

My best wishes

Hi Admin, I took my passport back with visa today. ;D It was granted on 21 Jun, 2011. The status has not been changed to "Visa Granted" though. Will it change like that soon?

Congratulations Jalna. :) :D

Dear Nazafarin,

Actually I have applied through an immigration lawyer (consultant as it is more common in this forum), and I am not supposed to write or call VO without checking with him. I talked to my Lawyer last week and I was told there is nothing to worry about. As my former post about the Damascus visa office situation and due delays, I am convinced of that news and I think we will receive the good news soon.
As far as I know a friend here in very the same situation is Alireza1981, who I haven't heard from him for a long time. I think as Alireza had predicted based on his friends case about 2 months ago, we are very close to get our medicals.
Don't worry friend just be patient. I try to post any little news I get from different resources just to help my friends and I relax.
I think it would be a good idea to check www.parscanada.com to get some news about the situation in Damascus.

I wish you the best of luck

Regards
Bahman

Dear fellows after hearing the good news for keyvan now I am again relieved that Damascus is still alive I hope we will get our medicals by the end of July hopefully. It is really becoming hard for me to check the ECAS every day and just seeing RBVO. ???

But Alireza....it is showing on your timelines that your status is in process??

Ritu

I dont exactly get what you mean but as my experience shows when Ecas turns into in process means that medicals have been sent

No. Leave it as it is.

I assume you still have your Indian passport and in that case the holder is not allowed to send his/her passport out of the country via mail/courier.......Read the note on the last page of your passport.

Yes, you are right, I am here in Dublin and so if I DHL the PP, it will reach them in a day or so. If they return then too bad i will have to go through the new PP thing but then there will be a paper trail for it. Which seems to be a good option than voluntarily getting new PP's and then explaining the whole thing. Thanks for your help.
