Congratulations for all with good news this week
I have one question regarding TOEFL English exam, is it accepted in CIC for immigration or strictly IELTS?
My brother is General practitioner and started to be interested, he already had TOEFL with score 550. TOEFL was required for Master degree in Specialist course
He is working in general hospital for more than 4 years

ToEFL is mainly academic. IELTs is for immigration.

He should do the IELTs general test.

dear forum experts i need ur views, by this time most of them who have gone through their process are busy and excited for getting their visa stamped, but some of us having bad luck r stuck up. So this time i am trying once more as the new regulation hits.
Now can anyone suggest me about my ???
I am planning not to add my child so we will be only two appliying for the application for now how much fund do i have to show?
According to CIO for a family of 2 is $13,837. IS it ok if i show around that figure or do i need to show fund for 3 as i have mentioned the details of my family of 3- me, my wife, and child. Child will not accompany us for now.

You dont want VO to assume you can't take care of your child? Whether the child is going with you or not, you still would take care of him naturally? The difference between funds for the two of you, and when you add your child is not much anyways, so why take the risk? Hope this helps?

Just requested my 2nd FBI background check. Lets hope it will be the last one... :-\ Wakeup Buffalo! Worst thing is that Buffalo is closed tomorrow (Canada Day) and Monday (US 4th of July)

I believe its similar to a PPR, however is a two step process for Pakistani's, as Pakistan does not allow mailing passports out of Pakistan

I sent all my original PCCs to the Buffalo Visa office when they sent the AOR (1st and only so far). Do you think I would need a 2nd FBI PCC as well?

I think General IELTS is a must as some applicants applied with academic ielts and were asked to submete general IELTS.

Usualy VO's like to have a PCC within 3 months. I sent one to Buffalo already. Looking at other's timeline I am assuming that I might get medical request in the next two months and it is likely that they will request new PCC. So I am just playing with trying to reduce the wait for a new one if they request it...
