Finally got our Passport Photocopies request from London VO (PPR Step 1)

Passport photocopies - so they are requestion additional documents, rather than asking for passports ready to stamp visa?

While we are busy complaining about how slow London VO is, applicants in other fora are getting results. Most of them are pre June 2010 and mainly Arab.

Maybe London VO is prioritizing applications from outside the uk.

Well, they say its a two step process, as Pakistan does not allow mailing the passports out of Pakistan, I have to send them copies of passport, after which they would inform Islamabad Visa Office, who will issue the Visas.

I believe its similar to a PPR, however is a two step process for Pakistani's, as Pakistan does not allow mailing passports out of Pakistan

Our address is still there, but our status changed to IN PROCESS (I don't know when).
So it must be some bug because we were never RVBO, just CIO ER COMPLETE and then in process

We are in the same situation. Ours also went into "In Process" a few days after our PER and has remained so since. It seems this happens to some of us that got our PER late. I have raised the concern here and the response is that this happens at times and that it should changed ack to RBVO in due course. I am not worried about the wordings on ecas though, I just want to be sure that the VO already has my file as I need to send case specific enquiries on some issue soon.
