Some good news for buffalo applicants...i didn;t check ecas for couple of weeks and guess what i got medical, RPRF and PCC request in my mailbox. Then checked ecas and it stated in process. So buffalo is moving little bit i guess.

Now the trickiest part is that my wife is pregnant and so she can't undergo X-rays test. But we have X-rays before she pregnant (like 2 months before), so my question is there a way we can use these X-rays for medical exams? Have anybody successfully used old X-rays for medical exams?
Also, we still have to order new PCC from both FBI and embassy which i have already done. Will keep you guys updated.

And buffalo applicants, start organizing your PCCs etc, you may be next....good luck. I hope everybody gets it soon.

One long-awaited news!Congratulations! :D

Buffalo applicants, cheer up! We all keep fingers crossed for you and hopefully an efficient kickstart to your processing!

Best of Luck all!

Katy

Please enlight me here... who's nectar??? what lies I told about you??? people can read everything here... why should I say things about you??? I don't know you and you don't know me...
There is no conspiracy here, we are only some applicants who wants to land happily in Canada...
I already apologized to you and show you the respect you are claiming for...
I would be most grateful for your kindness to close this subject.. and not to waste your and my time on this nonsense...
We are wasting valuable spaces and pages of this forum on back and forth useless discussion..
Again my apology... but can we just forget about it and act as adults focusing on their immigration...
And of course don't leave this forum ... people will need your help and guidance...
I am honest and not trying to play with my words..

Hi YTNZ,

Lies?
You said that I called people "suckers" - I did not.
You said that I called people "mentally retarded" - I did not.

And your "apology" wasn't really an apology but instead just sarcasm, wasn't it? "Please accept my deepest apology for asking you to show respect to others".

To answer your question, Nectar is some mysterious guy who posts "BREAKING NEWS" from CHC London and never quotes his source, except he is usually wrong and just misleads and deceives people. I have been quite vocal about some of his posts, hence his followers spend most of their time negging me (not that I really care).

Anyway, you are right in that this is wasting your time and mine, and it is achieving nothing. So seems we got off on the wrong foot - so why don't we start again? :)

How about yourself? I see your application is through London visa office so hopefully our timelines and experiences of the London process might be of some use to you.

Are you living in the UK? If so I would highly advise booking on the free CIIP course once you get to the med requests stage (there is a link to my experience on my blog in my signature below). This is only available in certain countries and the UK is lucky to be one of only 4 countries have a CIIP centre.

All the best with your application,
Wayne.

Sorry katy...

it was a typo error... 20 points for education will sum up for 70 total points.

Hi salman,

Hope everything is fine and you will safely pass the eligibility review. :) I wonder as on what grounds you are counting on 16 points only for your Bachelors? I believe you will be granted 20 points on this. Pals, please give your suggestion on this.

Katy

Hi wayne,

thanx for your valuable inputs...i will surely look into this..

Salman

Hi Salman,

I hope you are well.

Ok, the thing to remember is that it is much better to rectify or improve your situation before the visa officer makes a decision on your application, than after it.

Therefore things to do asap
1) Get any additional documents which can further support the relationship to your Canadian relative
2) If you feel you are able to improve your IELTS score to an extent that will grand your more points, do it!

Any of these documents can be sent to the visa office at any time (even if your application hasn't arrived yet if you quote the file number on your correspondence they'll just keep it until it arrived).

Waiting until after the visa officer reviews your application THEN trying to improve your IELTS score is a bad idea since if they fail you they are very unlikely to consider additional documentation after that stage.

Files usually take approx 1 month to get to the visa office after PER, which means yours should be arriving any time now.

If I were you I would try to send as many additional documents as you can to prove this relationship (don't wait for IELTS), and then later on if you have an improved IELTS score, send that also.

I wish you the best of luck.
Wayne.

Thanks for the truce guys! I have something to add to the CIIP discussion here. The actual sessions advertised on the website are for only 4 countries but thanks to our forum mate Amro, I recently learnt that CIIP sessions can also be taken online. After I registered for the online session I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had 'physical' sessions in Dubai in July, which I have now signed up for.

So for everyone who would like to attend the CIIP but isn't in country from which they can do so, I'd recommend signing up for the online course at least. This is the link:

@ Victory! Congratulations on your Victory!!! :P

Thank you Wendy for the info. :-* So do they only hold the Dubai sessions this coming July? Anyway, I'm happy you can attend one in person. ;)

Best wishes,

Hello,

Relax :) There is no definite timeline associated with the visa stamping as we see.. It could be anywhere from 20 days to more than 6 months, and we've been trying to find some logic behind the wait times in vain. so wait is the word!

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
Dear Indira
Do we make separate draft for two members in the application for RPRF or one for both the principal applicant and spouse? I mean is it 21,440 each or is it 42,880 only one draft? Can you please enlighten.
Thanks

Yes Katy,

They have the first session on the 16th and 17th and the second on the 18th and 19th. I'll PM you all the details once I've attended it, since we share the same NOC and landing destination I think the information will be similar for the both of us. Please let me know if you have any specific questions I could get answers for in the session. ;D
