Dear Wayne,

OK to be fair enough, don't judge people from your own or others experience.

I hired a lawyer and I am not ashamed to say this or regret it, I even recommended my lawyer to other friends. Also, I am %100 positive that I am smart enough to find my way in this life.

And I can assure you that I didn't hire a consultant because I am stupid or mentally retarded, it was a personnal choice to hire a consultant similar to your decision to do it yourself. Honestly, nothing is wrong with other people if they act different than you.

So please weigh your words carefully and learn how to respect others before you spit them out and hurt others feelings.

It should have been obvious that I was referring to people who pay immigration consultants large sums of money to hand deliver their applications on 1st July when a) it is much cheaper to do it yourself and b) the forms or rules could have changed before or on 1st July.

I think my view that to do this is very stupid is a very valid one.

I didn't "spit" anything out.

I am very respectful of members of this forum and this thread in particular - as many members here will testify to, actually I now feel quite hurt that you think I am not?

I've made over 3200 posts on this forum and have dedicated over 45 solid days during the past year helping other people. So please read my posts properly before you dare to sit there with your whole 28 posts and accuse me of disrespect and spitting and hurting other people's feelings.

I believe next step you will ask to ban all applicants who have lawyers from entering this forum.

Like I said extend people the courtesy of properly reading what they have written, and what it should be fairly obvious they mean by it, before jumping to conclusions and attempting character assassinations on some of the more respected and hard-working members of this thread.

And I will most certainly not be "keeping my opinion to myself", certainly not on the instruction of someone who's made 28 posts here.

and because I don't care (apparently) of how many - a member will give me, I will just say my opinion even if some don't like it. It's my opinion after all. Not yours.

Those who hired a consultant are 90% :
uninformed of the whole process,
or not very smart (this is not an insulting word, some people are just not as smart as others; that doesn't mean they can't immigrate to Canada),
or insecure,
or bored to do it themselves and can afford easily 2000$ or even more.


The rest 10% or less, are just unique, hard cases which would be better consulted by a (true and legitimate, though hard to find) lawyer.
