Our timelines are close to yours due to your pcc delay and the subsequent postal cockup. Otherwise your app was in process about a month before ours. Let us hope it is around the corner. Keep us posted. Cheers

Dear friends,
I am delighted to tell you that some time between 11pm last night and 10am this morning our status change to DECISION MADE!!! Saturday morning seems a strange time for ECAS to update, but we're not complaining! :

"We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 15, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

The main status and the detail both say decision made. No emails regarding PPR so we're going to wait for the postman this morning, otherwise I am guessing (hoping) we will get PPR next week?
Wayne.

Congratulation!

All the best!

Congratulations to Bindu, Wayne and Mikey and all others who are a step closer.

Admins when possible please update spreadsheet to Visa Issued - 16 June 2011

Wayne, when you get a moment can you confirm where the CIIP course is held, is it held at the CIIP office or other locations? After reading your Blog which was wonderful, I called and got a slot for 26 July but forget to confirm location. I will be travelling from Belgium so I would like to plan my trip today. Thanks in advance

Olga

Congrats Olga!

Attention!
for post 01 July 2011 applicants:

The government will further limit the number of new federal skilled worker applications that are considered for processing to 10,000 a year, beginning July 1. This limit will help better align the number of applications with labour market demand. Within the 10,000 limit, a maximum of 500 new applications in each of the current 29 priority occupations will be considered.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2011/2011-06-24a.asp

Simple calculations show that NOCs like 1122 will reach the cap within a week.
CIO will be flooded with at least 2000 aplications in the first couple of days.
And since the rule is to accept all the applications received in the same day they will have to process many times more than 500 applications in NOC 1122
